Per CDC guidelines, masks are required to be worn in healthcare facilities AND they must be worn properly so the nose and mouth are covered. Also, employees, patients and guests will continue to be screened for illness regardless of vaccination status to protect the medically vulnerable. Thank you for your cooperation.

Dermatology Associates of York is your board certified medical team to handle all your skincare needs from Acne to Skin Cancer, Psoriasis to Eczema and everything in between. Our mission is to provide the highest quality skin care to our patients. Our knowledgeable and experienced team of professionals provide expert diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care of your skin.
Modern laser technology now allows for the safe and effective removal of small spider-like veins on the nose and face called telangiectasia. Sometimes these tiny broken veins are hereditary or may be part of the skin condition known as rosacea. With Rosacea the skin of the cheeks and nose tends to flush easily making the veins appear more dramatic.
Psoriasis is a very common skin condition that affects a large number of people of any age. There is no cure for psoriasis but there are many treatments available that can help patients live normal lives. The goal of these treatments is to help alleviate the symptoms of the disease and to help prevent complications that may occur when this skin condition is left untreated.
Dermatology Associates of York and the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology carry a full line of skin care products including key ingredients such as alpha hydroxy acids, green tea, retinoids, and antioxidants. In addition to dispensing a variety of physician-strength cosmeceutical products, we also carry our own line of high-quality skin care products, not available to the general public.

I too see Dr Caplan and while I can understand the nays in most of these reviews, I must say that you need to know how to "deal" with Dr Caplan. My first appointment was terrifying. I had never been to a dermatologist before and had to have 3 spots biopsied. He was curt, cold and to the point with no pleasant bed side manner and I did leave feeling like a piece of meat but it was my second appointment that made him change. I flat out told his nurse first then I reiterated the whole thing to him. What I said was that during my first visit I did not appreciate that he did not really speak

This facility seems to be professional, however, they don't care for their patients.. just a medical mill.

For example, I went for a skin cancer screening. My time with a physician was literally 3 minutes. You might think that's an exaggeration, but sadly no. And to top it off, when I asked a question about my likelihood of developing skin cancer, I was told, "you're fine" and she turned and left the room.

Obviously, I'm not going there ever again.

My 12 year old had an appointment with Margetas. She did nothing I ask for when I made the appointment and had zero bed side manner. She was actually condescending. This was are first and last time here. I should've known the place wasn't any good when I walked in and there wasn't one person in the waiting room.

I go to this practice only because my insurance participates. Dr. Caplan was horrible both times I saw him. Once it was due to a scheduling error and he rushed me through and was curt and practically nasty. Cut me off in the middle of speaking, as if to say he wasn't interested. My father also had the unpleasant experience of dealing with him. Dr. Caplan was also unpleasant with them,. My father can be a talker with the small talk, and Dr. Caplan brushed him off in a way that was downright RUDE. I happened to attend a dinner where Dr.Caplan was seated nearby, and when I saw him being pleasant

I am very surprised at the experience of the other yelper.

Dr. Caplan was 100% professional and knowledgeable about all sorts of techniques and products available. More importantly, he was honest with me about what I needed and what I didn't. I was also impressed with his patience and caring bedside manner. He was very easy to talk to.

Dr. Caplan is a perfectionist and does superlative work. If you're doing research for the best dermatologist in the area, there's no need to continue looking - you've found the right guy!

The facility is very nice. The staff was very

I just got back from an appointment with Dr. Kaplan at this facility. Let me start from when I walked in the door. Large waiting room, Fox News playing on the TV. So far, so good. I got called right up to the receptionist's window. OK - prompt is nice. So much for first impressions.

The receptionist was unfriendly - not nasty, but still...would it kill her to be friendly? I was here because I was concerned about a growth that was potentially cancerous, so of course I was a little nervous to begin with. A smile and a sincere "hello" would have gone a long way to ease my
