Services
Harbor Consultants Inc. currently represents the following Municipalities in Planning Services:. He is currently maintaining zoning and ordinance information for the City and is instrumental in providing guidance for the urban revitalization. HCI created mapping for the Elizabeth Board of Education for its planning efforts in locating future sites of schools.
HCI provides services for the design of new pumping and the upgrade / rehabilitation of existing pump stations for both private and municipal systems. HCI designs new water systems and provides services for the maintenance and operation of existing systems, including expansions, upgrades and rehabilitations.
HCI provided design / build services for stream stabilization to protect a high voltage duct bank. HCI's services included design, survey, permitting and full construction management. HCI helped in the planning and construction of facilities within the Hillside Municipal Complex. They improved stormwater management, reconstructed municipal parking lots, and built a storage building for salt and police command vehicles.
The Jersey Gardens Mall was constructed on a former Browns- field site within a redevelopment zone. HCI utilized creative engineering design to address the diverse and unique site conditions. HCI provided analysis of the Clark reservoir after it had been transferred as property to the county. HCI plotted the boundary lines of the reservoir and prepared it for county use by noting any abnormalities, such as debris and encroachments.
HCI was responsible for the design, bid documents, specs and construction management for a sprawling $150,000 children's playground complex and picnic area. HCI provided the landscaping for its award winning amphitheater. Street lamps, in-ground planters, and hedges decorate the walkways to the theater, as well a mural depicting a mid-1900's Linden.

I am completing a large exterior residential patio project and the team at Harbor was not only super helpful in assisting me through the various code and permit compliance process, but they were very patient with my limited knowledge of the type of work required. Ron at Harbor was an incredible resource and at the beginning he was extremely patient with me as I tried to navigate this at times confusing and stressful process. Great people, responsive, good value and I highly recommend.
