Detailed cardiovascular risk screening and counseling with dietary and lifestyle coaching. Our members support the practice by paying an annual membership fee, which helps us provide services not covered by your insurance plan. These fees cannot be applied toward your deductible or co-pay. Discounts for paying the annual fee in full once per year.

I started going to Dr. Christian Wathen when she worked at the RMG office in Mathews, VA. I was devastated she she left, only to learn that she opened Middle Peninsula Medical acenter. I was so happy I could keep my Primary Care Doctor. The monthly fee is well worth it to me. I have it taken out automatically sa@month and don't miss it. I have quality care time with each visit. If I am otherwise sick, she can work me in. If I need a specialist she refers me and follows through. She has all the qualities that I find important : great listener, commitment, compassion, attentive, competent, ethical

I feel very comfortable sharing my health needs with Dr. Wathan. She is encouraging and very knowledgeable of any health problems I have had. She keeps me from feeling defeated many times. I have been a patient of Dr. Wathen's since she was part of a regional system. When she began her private practice with MPMC, my husband and I stayed with her for our medical needs and have never regretted it. She and her staff are excellent. They take time to answer questions and explain procedures in layman's terminology. They also manage to see me within a reasonable time frame when I have an emergency. I am extremely pleased with the care I receive.

Doctor Wathen and NP-C Hurst are very knowledgeable and tenacious in their process of diagnosing health issues.
