Each of our physicians has graduated from an accredited 4-year medical school and completed 5 years of postgraduate internship/residency training in orthopedic surgery.

Total shoulder replacement, also known as total shoulder arthroplasty, is a major surgical procedure in which your orthopedic surgeon replaces the damaged ball and socket joint of the shoulder with a metal replacement ball on a plastic surface on the socket.
Your orthopedic healthy is important to us. We know that convenience is key for busy lives, so our physicians are available at a hospital near you. OSI has a strong tradition of providing outreach support to patients in more rural areas and continues to provide regular clinical and surgical care to patients at the following facilities.

My appointment was scheduled for 2:50pm.
I did not see Erin until 4:20pm. I was made to do an in office appointment because no one would discuss my MRI results over the phone… I would not recommend this office.
Making someone wait 10 days for an in office appointment AND to be left waiting for an hour and a half in the lobby to be READ your MRI results is completely unacceptable.

Today I saw Erin Dickey, RN NP. She is AMAZING! She is very professional and explains everything. She has a great bedside manner and does not rush you through your appointment. She also gives a great shot! I was so happy she could see me on such a short notice since Dr David Paul had no openings today. My knee pain started feeling better in a couple of hours. Appointment was easy to make and everyone was very professional! I highly recommend Erin and the whole team! I hear nothing but great things about the staff Physicians, NP’s and PA’s. Everyone was great!

My journey with this group began in late 2015. I was confined to a wheelchair, super morbidly obese, all joints of my hips & knees shot. 3 prior surgeons refused to work on me due to size. Thankfully, Dr. David Paul gave me the opportunity to regain my mobility, my ambulation, and frankly, my life back. My hips were done in 2016, my knees in 2018 & 2019, respectively. With each surgery, I gained mobility, thus letting me incorporate physical activity to support my changes in fueling my body. My knee replacement surgery was on November 23rd, at the Total Joint Center. I cannot say enough about Dr. David Paul. He is a master “carpenter”. He came highly recommended by several friends....and I most certainly see why. The care I received was superb. Mia was excellent in her preparation work, letting us know exactly what to expect. The entire staff was amazing the day of surgery. I was anxious, but they all were compassionate and professional the entire time, pre op and post op. I had total knee replacement at OSI in June. I couldn't have asked for better outcome. My procedure and recovery was excellent due to the outstanding work of Dr. David Paul. The entire office and staff couldn't be more understanding and helpful.

Dr. David Paul replaced both my knees during the summer of 2019. I could not have asked for better results! Within hours after each surgery I was up and walking. During my checkups at the office, Dr. David Paul, continues to have a genuine concern towards my recovery and well being. During each checkup, he spends as much time with me as needed to answer all my questions and concerns, always with direct eye contact, professionalism, and and a delightfully pleasant attitude. I had Dr. Robert Paul replace my hip in 2016, so when my shoulder finally gave out last Fall I went back to him for the surgery. I find him very Professional. Appointments aren't hurried, he takes time to answer all questions. I understood ahead of time all steps involved in the surgery so no surprises. He and his staff were genuinely concerned about my Quality of Life.

I cannot say enough in a positive way about Orthopedic Surgeons Inc. I have had both hips replaced by Dr. Alan Cornett. The care provide has been exceptional!! It has allowed me to return to a very active lifestyle. The staff is always pleasant, and dedicated to the patient. I easily and highly recommend OSI to anyone in need of orthopedic care. I doubt that you could find a better group to provide orthopedic care anywhere.

Dr Kesl is the worst orthopedic surgeon i have been too! I seen him at the Cameron Hospital, with A Lot wrong with my shoulder he put me threw physical therapy and injections, told me I was too young for surgery and to live with it! I continued working for about 9 months until I couldn't function with my daily activities anymore! I lost my insurance, was going to my chiropractor every other week for relief. My neck was popping out causing me migraines, when I started searching for a Dr. that would help me, I found one in St. Joseph and my shoulder was almost completely separated the Dr. seen me

I had a left hip replacement by Dr. David Paul at Total Joint Center of the Northland back in December 2020. Dr. Paul was wonderful in taking his time explaining what needed to be done. He listened and answered all of my questions. The staff at Total Joint Center was the best I have ever seen. I have been in the medical field and their level of compassion and care is above any expectations I had. Dr. Paul's assistant, Jenni always called me back in a timely manner and helped me with any questions I had. If I have to have my right hip replaced, I will definitely go back to Dr. David Paul and Total
