They have the best Oreo snack service daily!unfortunately COVID-19 restrictions limited many community amenities; and they seriously need to make toast properly, and get some better brewed coffee, but the eggswere fine! as were the Ernest efforts of the therapists and nurses aides. Overall it’s a fine recuperative facility: way way out in the N.Shore!

My boyfriend was really sick and I took him into kahuku hospital to be seen. We waited a while and the receptionist was a little rude and sarcastic. But for the most part he was helpful. My concern was a nurse who introduced herself as "Tesla". From when she walked in she gave me an unpleasant look which already made me feel uncomfortable. It was as if she didn't want me in the room. She then seemed unprofessional with her procedures. My boyfriend said she was rubbing the needle into his skin for an uncomfortably long time, which he thought was weird because none of the nurses ever

Super happy the hospital opened a dental clinic in Kahuku and was even more happy to see familiar faces with the doctor and hygienist.
I had seen Dr. Swaja in the past and was always impressed with how thorough and professional he is. He did some extensive work on me years ago and it still looks and feels great. Nice to have a top quality dentist back on north shore. Also the hygienist Markee is amazing! She is very gentle, gives me great tips on better teeth care, and of course my mouth always feels better when I leave. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcome and did not dread being

Love this Medical Center! Fairly new as I was going to a nearby clinic but once my Pediatrician moved I moved here too and haven't looked back. Nurses are great, reception too. Very clean space and you get great care here. I've also used the labs, xray, physical therapy and all my experiences here have been great!!! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs good care by great dr's and staff.

KMC is excellent and provides top of the line dentistry. Dr. Tanya Karnavy is exceptional. My 16-year-old daughter has severe autism. She would not even walk in the clinic she was so scared. Dr. Karnavy and her awesome assistant, Peja, met my daughter outside and did the exam just outside the clinic at a picnic table. I had tears of joy I was so happy. Other dentists wanted to strap her down for an exam or fully sedate her. Dr Karnavy met my daughter where she was that day and really got her. My daughter even had fun! Peja is a great assistant and Lisa was so good and patient with figuring out

I had the unfortunate ankle roll into a broken foot...however, I had the fortune of meeting some of the most caring people I've ever met. From the nurses to the imaging did to the doctor...they treated this tourist in such a kind, professional way. Special thanks to Alana for going beyond out of her way to take care of me. Mahalo!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR MEDICAL CARE!!!!
While visiting Oahu on vacation, my son hurt his right shoulder. We went in to get it checked out at Kahuku Medical Center by Dr. James Woo, since it was close to where we were staying. They barely manipulated his arm, took 2 x-rays and gave him some Advil and said "nothing wrong- he'll be fine!"
We arrive home a day later and by this point, my son's shoulder is really hurting him. He requested a sling because it was hurting so much. We go to his pediatrician (who is actually a GOOD doctor and took the time to evaluate the injury) and

VERY BAD accounting / business office procedures. In August 2016 I visited Turtle Bay resort with my family for vacation. During this visit my daughter had allergy and we decided to go to emergency room to check it. Before we go there, I called my health insurance provider to make sure this visit is covered, which they assured it is. We spent about 15 minutes at Kanuku Medical Center emergency room, where the doctor looked at my daughter and suggested to take Benadryl to cure allergy. No any other procedures were provided. Our vacation over and we left home. After six months we received statement

Vacation is never an ideal time to need urgent care. My young daughter developed a bladder infection while staying at the nearby Turtle Bay resort. Since it was a Saturday we had to use the emergency room at the Kahuka Medical Center. The intake staff, nurses and doctor were amazing and the whole process took under an hour! My daughter was a bit apprehensive being in a hospital she had never been to, but everyone was very reassuring and kind. She was prescribed an antibiotic and we went on our way, able to enjoy the rest of our vacation! Furthermore, the doctor called later in the week to follow

I was vacationing at Turtle Bay and needed to see a doctor. I went to the clinic at Kahuku Medical Center. I called for an appointment and although they didn't have any same day appointments available they asked if they could talk to the doctor to see if she would work me in and call me back. They called me back and got me in that day since my need was urgent. They went out of their way to accommodate me and even took pertinent information over the phone to make my visit go smoothly! The Clinic was very clean and up to date in decor and technology. I found the doctor and staff to be caring

These guys provided awesome friendly ER experince "Country Service" for my daughter's ear that was shredded by a puppy's needle sharp teeth over the New Years Holiday. No waiting like we do at Kaiser Hospital. They took care of billing to Kaiser and wrote prescription for Laie Pharmacy at Foodland. Would highly recommend to anyone on the North Shore to utilize these guys. Kaiser Permanente could learn a lot from these guys!! Thanks,

We were on holiday staying at the Turtle Bay resort when our 4 year old son got a nasty ear infection. This is probably going to read very similar to another persons review! Anyway we found this medical center and after enquiring about getting an appointment to see a doctor we were given a spot within a couple of hours which was great. Upon arrival the reception staff were really friendly and made us all feel comfortable straight away .... even putting on a kids show for my son on the tv. The paperwork was minimal which was a first for us for a doctors visit in the US so this was also a pleasant

Was on a family trip from Ca. As soon as I got checked in I was called back to be seen within a min (never happens out in Ca I was shocked from there). The nurses were all super nice and the doctor was great! Never have I had a doctor call himself personal to check up on me and see how I was going and this doctor did just that! We need more Emergency rooms like them in Ca.

VERY BAD accounting / business office procedures. I received two Kahuku Medical Center bills 9 months after my visit, both several days apart. The first bill was correct, listing the procedures performed, my HMAA insurance payment portion and my patient portion. I promptly paid my patient portion (less than $100). HMAA (my medical insurance) paid-out their portion 6 months earlier.
Several days later, the second Kahuku Medical Center "consolidated statement bill" arrives (for the same visit) but the bill does NOT list the medical procedures or the already-paid HMAA insurance portion

Our family was on a vacation last week at the North Shore, Oahu. Unfortunately, my 13 years old son developed a food allergy for the first time; hives broke out on his face, chest, arms and hands with swelling of his tongue that changed his speech. As a registered nurse, I recognized the crisis and rushed him to a nearest hospital; Kahuku Medical Center. The quick response by the Emergency room doctor, Dr. Archbold relieved my son's hives on his upper body, including the swollen tongue. Without Dr. Archbold and the emergency room nurses' prompt response, my son could have developed a
