The hotel is very pretty. Our room was spacious, our bed was comfy. I wish it had a microwave in the room though. There seemed to be a staffing issues. The bars and restaurants were not up to full service. Our breakfast was the best meal there and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely give this place another try.

I only was in the event center, but seemed to be a nice open venue with an easy to find bathroom. It even has a lovely spot for a bar within the center. Very open space. Only issue as I was there for a vendor event that the sun comes in during the day, and makes it hard to see and have to move around to not get blinded.

Times are tough all over. Had lunch there 12/2/2021. I love WALLEYE. Beer breaded was on the menu for $23.00. Two long strings of cigar shaped fish surrounded by lots of breading. I think Long John Silver's cod fish might have been better for much less than half the cost. Very thick breading. I doubt if the Walleye was fresh. My wife's spouse was better - not great but much better than the overpriced Walleye. Draft beer selection awful. Paid $5 for a bottle of Budweiser. I would like this place to stay in business but I am not going back. $58 for lunch including a decent

SUCH. A. GEM!
I always get a little anxious when I'm on my way to a hotel because you kind-of never know what you're going to get. They can look really nice online & then be really gross when you get there.
This place really exceeded all of my expectations.
First off, the lobby is SO beautiful. I was very taken back by how nicely decorated it was & how warm & cozy it felt.
Joey checked me in & was so welcoming.
The room made me very happy! Very clean, & cozy! Well decorated! Cute little outside patio, huge bath tub, lots of fluffy bright white towels! Everything

We recently held a family reunion at the lodge. For a 3-star hotel, I think this place is great. The rooms were huge, clean, perhaps recently renovated(?). The event spaces were fresh. We enjoyed the new restaurant/bar. The grounds were clean. Some cons would be the jacuzzi jets did not work during our stay, pool could use a cleaning (but that did not stop the kids). We would be happy to hold another reunion here.

Nice hotel with a beautiful garden in the center. Especially pretty at night. It was clean and newly renovated. The room was very spacious and nicely laid out. Watch the corners of bed as they are very hard and easy to run into! Check in staff were very pleasant. The restaurant was closed because of Covid and the bar was under staffed.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped, the garden area is peaceful and tranquil, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. All public areas were well-maintained with plenty of comfortable seating areas, indoors and out. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would recommend that if you have a room preference to speak directly with a staff member and not make your reservation online, since I did and was disappointed to find my room was not what I requested. The front desk switched my room to one that met my request, however I had to move my luggage to the new room by myself. The only real

I don't even know where to begin, the entire experience was nothing but a buildup of unneeded stress, and hiccups that I wouldn't wish on any bride.
My husband and I had booked our hotel reservation/room block for our wedding back in late 2019/early 2020 for our wedding that was supposed to be in June 2020. Due to covid, we obviously had to to move our wedding to 2021. I was ensured, by multiple people that my entire block (along with the reservations that were made) was moved to our new date. Well, surprise, it wasn't.
So our guests start calling to make reservations and they

Everything at this time, middle of August 2020, is secondary to following health and social distancing rules for business. This hotel is holding mass gatherings, including weddings, and not ensuring the safely of its guest by requiring mask wearing. There is no security enforcing mask wearing. The hotel should be advising guests prior to confirmation that the hotel is hosting mass gatherings and does not require its guests to wear masks. Clearly there is a huge risk in staying here, I would strongly suggest you stay away unless you are immune to the Coronavirus

First let me start by saying they have king beds in all rooms which are very comfortable. It's clean and rooms are updated each with balcony & chairs. Hallways could use new carpet & there was no ice in any ice machine I found but that might be because of COVID. I saw people take their cooler to the front desk & get them filled. The staff is very nice & you can tell they are trying their hardest but it's obvious they are understaffed especially housekeeping & groundskeeping. There's no breakfast but Keurig in room & Starbucks in lobby. I saw in magazine

This is the newly renovated Cherry Valley Lodge
We had our organization Christmas party here last Friday. Nice banquet room. Tables were set up nice. The staff was nice. We had a small bar set up in our room and the bartender was nice.
We had a two meat buffet with rosemary potatoes, carrots, salad and pie.
The pie wins.
All of the food was cold. The beef was pretty tough and cold. The pork was overdone also...and cold. The carrots were cooked, but cold...and I like carrots. The salad was just salad.
We had a beer and rum and coke at the bar before going to the banquet room. $14.00. The beer

JUST A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We had been so excited to experience the "new" Cherry Valley Hotel after having hearing so much hype about the multi-million dollar makeover and demolition of the water park that had, literally, destroyed it prior. We decided to not cook this year with our traditional family gathering and enjoy, what sounded like from their marketing, a wonderful and amazing Thanksgiving Buffet. We had 3:00 reservations and arrived early.
The line to "check-in" was long down the hallway but didn't appear like it would take too much time. Boy, were we flat out

I would have enjoyed giving this facility 5 stars as they are just newly renovated and hoping to bring back business. But, there were just a few things that kept them out of the 5 star category.
Our room was fresh, clean, and well appointed. However, the TV was hanging in a place where it could not be viewed from anywhere except the bathroom. We could never come to terms with the thermostat but, at least it didn't blow air on the bed.
The bathroom was large but no separation from toilet and dressing area or sink. We stayed for two nights and the maid forgot to clean our room. The front

Just got back from a visit here, first impression is this place is large and beautiful in the common areas. This feels like a ski lodge or something.
They have a nice restaurant and a bar which were both fairly vacant when i saw.
The rooms were newly renovated with everything new from carpet to furniture and fixtures alike...its very nice.
The front desk staff was pleasant and the check in process was quick enough.
There was a huge tv in the room with a nice sitting area with a couch, and credenza type cabinet sort of separating the area with a little two person table. The room had a king bed

Stayed at the Cherry Valley Hotel in one of the newly renovated rooms. The hotel has a new owner and the decor is very modern and chic with touches of wood to cosy it up. The huge bathroom and large bathtub are a dream! The little patio was a wonderful treat!
The price was very reasonable for such a stunning hotel.
The chef was more than eager to assist me with my dietary needs. The meal was excellent and the restaurant's atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming.
The staff was very willing and concerned to meet our needs and made our stay enjoyable.
The lobby is gorgeous and a wonderful area
