At Northwest Automotive, we do what it takes to work with your schedule which is why we offer our shuttle service to make sure you stay on schedule even if you vehicle isn't. We offer free shuttle rides to you while your vehicle is being worked on, anywhere in the Kalispell City Limits. We use an Eco-friendly, all-electric Smart Car.

The alternator in your vehicle is what helps to recycle power and recharge electrical components. It powers everything from the headlights and radio, to the computer controlling the engine. Late-model vehicles are operated by computers in various locations in the vehicle. These computers must receive the proper voltage to operate normally.

The team at Northwest Automotive was absolutely superb. We were traveling in Montana when we began having problems with our car’s engine. The team at Northwest was able to get our car into the shop, determine the problem to be fixed, and then make the repairs within just a couple of hours at a reasonable cost. In the end we could continue on our trip. I highly recommend Northwest Automotive. They are perhaps the best auto repair shop I have ever done busy with.

While visiting Kalispell for the month of August, it was important to me to have my car serviced prior to departing for 2 weeks of sightseeing on my way home to the desert. Northwest Automotive was very professional and performed the service quickly. They did a complete check up on my Jeep while doing the oil change. I was impressed at their attitude since they knew from looking at my license plate, that I would not be a returning customer.

There should never be a question on what mechanic people go to when it comes to Northwest Automotive, my Subaru has just a couple times needed Northwest Auto's love, and each time I've been not just satisfied, with the quick turnaround, but treated with the friendly, home-feel that you just don't get anywhere else. I called with a question about my battery/alternator (😭😭) at 3pm, and was given a time slot to come in at 4. They let me know they could do an electronic service test for $29.99 and we could go from there! Within 45 minutes they were able to find the root of the problem (loose negative cable on battery) and fixed the issue at no extra cost (just the service fee)! Very pleasant interactions on the phone and in person, and an excellent waiting room with free WiFi! If I'm back in the Kalispell area, I'll definitely return!

I am from out of state and shortly after arriving in town, I noticed a coolant leak on my 2000 Land Rover Discovery.
