This title company has no idea what they're doing. Our loan was funded at 8am and closing was at 4pm. We sat and waited 25 mins for the closer to confirm funds transferred. The best part was getting a phone call the following day telling us we had to return and resign documents because they messed up the paperwork. Would never recommend!!!

If you're an agent and you feel it is important for your lender to receive title documents, then I would highly suggest you find another title company. Should your lender submit the request to a closer that is not on the file, that closer will not forward the request to the correct individual and title will not be ordered/sent to your lender.

Awful just awful. No contact from them after we sent money in. I had to call and email to hurry and prod along a company that there business is about titles to property. 2 weeks after closing and no documentations saying I own property. I was unsure and still am unsure if they know the business. Plus they can not seem to do business online or totally online. Most inconvenient and then today when I call to get information on my closing (the closing documents we find out yes it has been recorded.) so when were they going to send paperwork?

Warn your lender to avoid this company, and take your business elsewhere. They simply are a mess from top to bottom. Slow response time, unclear about what they need from you, "surprise" paperwork that is suddenly needed in the next 3 hours or they have to "start over". Unexplained costs on closing. Oh and I love hearing "I have to check with my boss and get back to you" from my title officer. Seriously, take your business somewhere else.

Closing set for Thursday at 3pm. On Tuesday afternoon, I spoke with my closer's assistant to confirm our first wire came in and confirm the balance I was going to send for our second wire. The figure she provided was $512 dollars less than I had on my documents from my lender. I said to her they didn’t match. She suggested that I wire extra money, as they can cut a check back to us for any overage. I did this. You would think that this would have been a red flag for Capstone when I stated the figured didn’t match.

My experience with Capstone Title was less than pleasant. My closing was scheduled for 2pm, and after sitting in their office for over two hours waiting to sign my closing documents, I was finally informed by the receptionist that there would be a delay.
