This place makes fantastic subs and sandwiches. Excellent deli foods available for purchase as well, all Boars Head meats and cheeses. Sandwich menu is creative and well thought out. Not a lot of room to sit in the actual restaurant but friendly staff. The sandwiches are also put together in a way that is different than most sub shops every bite has some of the ingredients rather than being thrown on and the amount of stuff is awesome (a sub is easily two meals), and the breads are excellent as well. Highly recommend trying them out.

This is the best place I’ve eaten since being diagnosed with celiac disease!! The owner has celiac disease so they are incredibly knowledgeable about the difficult prep process. They were so friendly and the GF sandwich was the best I’ve had so far! The non GF food was great too, according to my mom.
They even have GF ice cream cones and great ice cream flavor choices!! I’m so impressed with this place.

So, never had a problem with this place until today...they have great meat/cheese selection, but customer service was beyond disappointing...I go in at about 10 'til noon and 1 customer is cashing out (btw, no other customers), the phone rings and the one employee answers the phone, takes their order for 1 or 2 sandwiches, tells them it will be ready in 30 minutes. She gets off of the phone, greets me and I ask for 1.5 lbs of ham to be sliced...she tells me it will be 40 minutes, because their lunch rush is now and she needs to get the order from the phone call done before she can use the

Coming from a city where Boars Head products and subs are available in almost every square mile of the county, it's refreshing that there is a place up here in the sticks that carries it. 20 Below is the only place that my family and I will order a sub. There is no compromise!

Small shop with big tastes, try not to miss it. A number of unique sandwiches, make sure you have time to survey the board and find the one that best suites your tastes. I went roast beef, piled high, with pepper jack cheese, sprouts, horseradish mayo on a Portuguese roll. Homemade pickles pairs perfectly with these crafted sandwiches. Next time you are in downtown Plattsburgh looking for lunch, cross the bridge and don't miss 20 Below.

In Australia, if you want an ice cream cone, you go into a shop and ask for ice cream. In the U.S. you have to indicate the kind of ice cream in regard to texture, the flavor (out of a choice of dozens of brands), the size or number of scoops, whether you want jimmies, any other toppings you want, the kind of cone, etc. etc.

Gluten-free goodness in Plattsburgh! On our way to Canada, we had to stop in Plattsburgh. Feeling peckish, I looked up GF friendly fooderies. Since 20-below was referenced multiple times, we headed down into the cute Plattsburgh downtown.
This unassuming deli holds treasures for the gluten sensitive and the celiac. They have a separate prep space for gluten-free sammiches and salads and *get this* a dedicated toaster!!! Their bread is dreamy (udi's commercial), and the sammiches are yummy.
Totally worth the detour!

Serves high quality boars head meats and cheeses which IMO is the best. I usually get cold cuts to go but today tried the Big Bridge on Sourdough. It has comparably ingredients to another sub location's fan favorite, but 20 below's is BETTER. All ingredients are always fresh and they have a lot of homemade choices as well. I enjoy coming in here and supporting a place that offers quality and great tasting sandwiches at a fair price.

Stopped in to 20 Below based on prior Yelp reviews and was very pleased. The shop does use top quality products (including homemade items), makes excellent sandwiches, prices are fair and has a friendly and helpful staff. Nice location with easy parking or easy walking distance from other downtown spots. I only tried a sandwich, but other items looked excellent too. They also sell great deli products to go. Preordered a couple of gluten free sandwiches for the road. The service was excellent, food exactly what we ordered and tasted great. The owners understand about cross contamination and gluten sensitivity. They have a separate work area to handle the food to ensure everything is safe. We'll definitely be back.

After a long 5 1/2 hour trip up to Plattsburgh from Jersey, it was definitely safe to say that my boyfriend and I were in a desperate need for delicious sustenance. We were at the co-op next door purchasing groceries when we decided to pop in to 20 Below Deli for some sandwiches. Thank goodness we did! I ordered the #11, park pastrami, and it was the most delicious pastrami sandwich I've ever had. Great flavors accompanied by amazing service. I have read the reviews posted and I can not understand the reasoning behind the statements made. I have been to this deli many times and the food is always fresh, and tastes great! The deli uses Boar's Head cold cuts with are premium compared to other brands. Research it yourself:) The bread is always fresh and they offer bread that is gluten free as well. The cost of a sub is a little pricier than other delis, but it is definitely worth it to get Boar's Head meats. The staff is always friendly and they go out of their way to cater to one's needs. Great job 20 Below Deli!
