In the year 2000, while the world was entering the dawn of a new millennium wrought with excitement and anticipation, Jeff and Amy Rasmussen were in the process of opening a family-owned funeral home that would provide first-class facilities and service to Magic Valley residents. Since 2000, it has been their privilege and their pursuit to ensure that members of our community receive the best care that they can provide.
In 2018, Rasmussen Funeral Home incurred a name change to Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, reflecting the formation of a partnership with Court and Jill Wilson, who had joined Jeff and Amy years earlier with like-minded desires, to help provide care and support to those in our community bereft of loved ones.

Services
A "Traditional Service" generally refers to a service held at the funeral home or at a church. The family will select which setting best fits their needs. For a smaller more intimate setting, one might choose the funeral home. However, many families prefer their place of worship. Religious beliefs, ethnic heritage, and personal preference all play an important role in determining where the service will be held.

Rasmussen Funeral home gave most professional, and meaningful care for our father. We had the best level of attention to details associated with our father's funeral: gorgeous casket; beautiful flowers; and grave side event services. Our Dad looked amazing! We were so happy with his care from Rasmussen -Wilson Funeral Home.

Jeff has been so much comfort in my time of need. Very up front and does not hide anything that pertains to the humane and dignity of your passed loved one. His voice was comforting. He made me feel we were family not a customer. Thank you to all at Rasmussen-Wilson and especially Jeff. You were a bright light at a time of sadness. Thank you.
