Services
Many serious health problems don't have symptoms; they are only identified during a medical exam. Don't wait until something goes wrong. Be there for the ones you love. Your medical provider can learn a lot about your health today and what it might look like in the future just by talking with you about your lifestyle and performing some basic tests, and that's what preventive care is all about.
Wellness: Women have different medical needs from other patients. Our primary care providers work closely with female patients to review their medical history and risk factors as it relates to conditions such as breast cancer, heart disease, cervical or ovarian cancer, osteoporosis and other conditions that impact many women.
Our providers are highly trained in chronic disease management and helping patients control health problems that could become serious if not given the proper attention. Fortunately, with the proper guidance, chronic disease management can help you feel better and improve your overall health. Please let your physician know if you suffer from any of the fol-lowing chronic health conditions.
Cost of the vaccine: Western Wayne accepts most major healthcare plans, therefore cost of your vaccine maybe fully covered by your plan eliminating your out-of-pocket expenses. For self-pay patients, it is $26. Cost of the Flu vaccine is $26. Western Wayne Medical will file the cost of the vaccine with insurance plans that we participate.
Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are common, but the types of STD testing you need may vary by your risk factors. Find out what's recommended for you. If you're sexually active, particularly with multiple partners, you've probably heard the following advice many times: Use protection and make sure you get tested.

I am a relatively new patient to WWMC. I was so impressed with the level of compassion and care that I received, I switched my entire family to WWMC as our PCP. The staff was timely and thorough. I felt my provider, Jennifer King, FNP was very detailed and performed a very comprehensive exam. She really took the time to listen and delve into my medical history. If you are looking for a new provider or just tired of feeling like your current provider isn't truly listening to your needs, please consider visiting WWMC.

Jennifer has by far been my favorite doctor. She’s helped me get my paperwork done for school, helped me get my sports physical, and she sees most of my family. I would strongly recommend this place to anybody

I’ve had the best experience while coming to their health care facility! Jennifer was so extremely considerate and caring. I was having some problems with my skin and not getting any calls about referrals and she was on it. I was able to get call back in a few days for my skin and also my teeth. She took extra time talking to me, explaining everything, and making sure I was in tip too health. She had been taking great care for me and every time I need a need refill and her and her team are on the job. I’ve always have had great care going into there and Jennifer has really added to the experience

I’m really not sure why there was a negative review on here about the new practitioner. Everything was a very smooth transition from Krystal to Jennifer. I was notified right away about the change of providers. I absolutely love Krystal, but Jennifer has been phenomenal. When I went in to discuss issues with her, she had already read over my records so she was aware of my preexisting conditions. I’ve literally never had that happen before at any any medical practice. She picked up right where Krystal left off. I needed referrals and one of them was made before I even left the office! The quality

Western Wayne has been my place to go for the past 5 years! I live in New Bern but I still drive all the way to goldsboro to see them! They always fit you in on a timely manner. I have seen all the FNP. Jennifer is the newest FNP and she is absolutely amazing! She listens to your concerns and makes sure your taken care of before you leave. She helps educate you on what’s going on in your body and what can be done about it. Absolutely the best service! Will keep going!

Western Wayne medical is a wonderful practice. From the time I walked in the door until the time I met with my provider everyone was kind and sweet. I had zero wait time, Jennifer King was prompt and professional. Jennifer took the time to talk with me and answer all of my questions and I never felt rushed. She has been wonderful with follow-up care and has made me feel like I'm her only patient. This is a great practice!

Been coming here for years. Krystal was amazing. I really was worried when she left. I had my 3rd visit with Jennifer today. Each time she has sat down and talked to me and tried to get to know me as a patient without trying to rush me out the door. Thus far I am very impressed.

Had an issue today with my son and because we transferred him to another office I was told they will not accept him as a patient EVER again. Receptionist was not very friendly or helpful about the situation, I think her name was Angie, and told me to go to the Health Department. Happy to be switching offices.
