Mattie was awesome at her job. From start to finish it was very smooth to rent e-bikes from Zion Cycles. Great communication, great bikes, great training for the e-bikes. Excellent location to the park. My two bro's and I rented the Rad along bike they were awesome!!! The kids loved them! Plenty of power to ride for hours! We will be renting again from Zion Cycles!

Staff was super friendly/helpful & bike was reliable but rental was a little overpriced. There are only two options - 4 hours or full day at 10 hours. Suggest shopping around for better deals. All in all, nothing to complain about re: the bike except the fees. They also charge extra for "bike insurance" and a flat tire kit..for the amount I paid I would expect the flat tire kit to be included.

These guys saved my trip to Zion. I rolled into ZNP around noon, pulled my bike off my rack, got everything ready, then started my ride up to Temple of Sinawava. I didn't even make it thirty feet when my entire crank assembly fell off. I was floored...never had that happen. The crank bolt was nowhere to be found so must have come off somewhere along the 1,100 mile drive. Zion Cycles was the only local bike shop we could find with full services. I rolled the bike over to their place--they were crazy busy with rentals, but after some trial and error managed to find me a crank bolt that

Zion Cycles is THE WORST!!!!!
There are many places to rent ebikes in Zion and I can say with 100% certainty...Zion Cycles has to be the absolute WORST! Do not go anywhere near this place
My family was looking forward to biking in and out of the Narrows for months, that's the main activity we drove 8 hours to Zion to experience. We rented 4 ebikes and everything was going great....until the chain exploded off my son's bike 3.5 miles from the entrance to the Narrows. We were stranded with no cell service and no functioning bike....but thank god we were able to drag my husband on the

Two words: no communication. Firstly, our chain snapped about 5 miles in, we called 5 times , no answer, left 3 separate messages , we had to leave the bike and our friend on his own while we rode back to the shop to finally get "help", in which we waited 45 minutes for someone to come help. While trying to speak to the manager she was extremely rude and said we should stop being "so worried about our trip", and come back at 6:00 to "yell at her then " . We were as polite as we could in the situation and the staff just made it worse. Do yourself a favor and go to another

Thanks to these guys for keeping my coast-to-coast tour on track. The bike has never run better and it was desperately in need of their expert care. The rental bike was discounted because my touring rig was being serviced. This allowed me to go hike the Narrows and Angels Landing in the daytime. What an awesome place! Thank you!

I'm from the east coast and have never heard of these 'goat heads'. I went cycling with my partner for a few hours and came back to our van to rest. We went outside about two hours later to find 3 of 4 tires flat!!!! I had no idea you had to use slime and other protective measures out west. We took our bikes here to get 4 new tires...less than 24 hrs later we had our bikes back in excellent condition and we were on our way. They price it as very reasonable too; $105 for 4 tubes/slime. They saved me time and energy at Zion!! I couldn't be more appreciative. If you need service

My fiancée and I wanted to get away for the weekend and spend some time in Zion. With all of the covid guidelines in place we missed getting shuttle passes so decided to rent some e-bikes instead to help us get around the park. We rented on a whim and lucked out with getting the last bike of the day.
This was our first time using an e-bike which ended up being really cool. We shared a tandem bike which easily fit us both and were able to rent by the hour. The bike allows you to ride three ways - pedaling normally, pedal assist and power throttle. Our max speed we got to was around 20 mph. (Similar

This place deserves the 5 star rating. So I'm traveling with a little buddy who cannot ride a bicycle. Zion Cycles suggested a carrier which worked out great. I booked in advance, which I highly recommend, and when I arrived everything was ready for me and my buddy. Awesome customer service and reasonable prices. I just wished I had an EBike, my legs felt my jelly after the 22 mile roundtrip ride.

I definitely recommend renting bikes from Zion Cycles and experiencing Zion via bike! FYI - the ride in is a steady uphill and ebikes are too heavy for the shuttle so you have to ride them up into the park. I'm not a bicyclist and I had no issues getting to the Temple of Sinawava on the ebike though - I still had plenty of legs left for hiking. My boyfriend had a standard bike and he made it up, but was glad to take the shuttle in and ride out the next day (we both had standard bikes the second day so we were able to use the shuttle). Reserving the bikes online was easy and picking them up was

I reserved a bike prior to arriving since it seemed like a more fun option to get to the trails than a shuttle. Since my plans changed which they often do with spontaneous travel - The day of my reservation I stopped in to see if they could switch my reservation to the next day. Unexpectedly, she was not resistant to this request at all and offered I take the bike before they close that evening instead of the early morning pick up. Such a great and considerate idea. She also gave me a partial refund as I wouldn't need to drop it off after hours anymore. I had the best time biking 5.5 mi one

We made last minute plans for bike riding through Zion and came in the morning of our visit. Rental process was quick and easy. Signed some liability forms electronically and paid! We got one bike, one ebike and a trailer for our 15month old. They went over instructions needed for safety and operation and we were on our way! We rented for the day and returned them by closing at 530pm. Drop off was easy as well. Grateful for available bikes but then again it was during the week- on a Wednesday. You can also reserve online as well so that's convenient. Appreciate the customer service and help

I found this Zion business very cognizant of COVID-19; every employee has a mask on and social distancing was instructed by the first employee I met.
Brought in a bad tire at 10 min to closing, Stu put on a new tire, very old rim strip, tube was good--in no time flat.
These folks deserve all the 5 stars you see here.
Don't know what previous reviewer saw with COVID protections & social distancing but these guys are good to go.
Working hard to get a customer back on the road requires having experienced that themselves and pay it forward.
Very happy with Zion Cycles.

Staff was friendly, informative and helpful. First time getting an ebike and they spent time explaining how it works. Bikes were in great shape. Helmets included. We paid for early check in so that we can head to the narrows and this was by far the best decision we made! We definitely recommend and we will be back to this location.

This place is very organized, following distance measures. The staff was very helpful even when they were busy in the morning. I forgot my multipurpose bike tool with the chain link tool, and they had two versions which were fairly priced. Gotta have one just in case something fails on the 18 mile ride. No way I'm walking! I initially asked the gentlemen in the service department for help, and he immediately got another staff member to help me because he was busy doing rentals. Good system. The young lady who helped me out answered a few important questions I had regarding scenic drive which

We walked in to inquire about e-bike rentals. The lady at the desk stated "That would require a lot of time and a lot of math on my part right now, which I don't have. So just come back at opening tomorrow and we'll see."
I understand you might be busy, but this doesn't seem like a professional response to give, or a good way to get customers to come back to spend their money.
Needless to say, we did NOT return here, and took our business to a much friendlier competitor up the road.

My boyfriend and I went to Zion NP during Memorial Day weekend after recent opening of the park. It was so overcrowded that the first day we had to walk from the Visitor center to Kayenta trail and back. We walked over 16 miles that day and could not bear to walk that the second day. So we rented out bikes last minute the next day and that was the best decision I had made. I fell in love with the bike I rented and ended up buying it off of them. The service was outstanding and I would highly recommend it. 5 stars for this wonderful place You guys are amazing
