If you experience an injury or develop pain, seeing a physical therapist early can help you address and manage your symptoms. Physical therapists are movement experts who improve quality of life through hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement. Stay physically active and avoid the cost and potential risks of surgery and prescription opioids.

Pain lasting longer than three months is considered chronic. Identifying the cause of chronic pain is more complicated, and treating chronic pain takes longer. Seeing a physical therapist early, in the acute phase of pain or injury, often leads to the best results. Here are five benefits of seeing a physical therapist early if you experience pain.
Services
The practice at that time was named Foothills Physical Therapy. Cynthia was a new resident of Cave Creek in 1985, and established her business with an outpatient office to serve her home community. The original location was 7518 Elbow Bend Road with 900 sq ft.

Given the small town population of Cave Creek and Carefree at the time, she built her local business by also contracting with the area hospitals to provide home care physical therapy visits. Her territory included stops from Bell Rd in Phoenix to Black Canyon City. In 1996, we moved to accommodate our growth in services and additional staff members to 100 Easy Street, adjacent to the Carefree Sundial.
Falls among the elderly are prevalent, dangerous, and can diminish their ability to lead an active life. About one in three seniors above age 65, and nearly one in two seniors over age 80, will fall at least once this year, many times with disastrous consequences. Of those who fall, 20% to 30% suffer moderate to severe injuries that make it hard for them to get around and live independently.
As a founding member of PTPN (Physical Therapist Provider Network), we participate in many other major insurance networks not listed here. If you do not see your insurance network, we will be happy to verify your physical therapy benefit coverage for your treatment at Carefree Physical Therapy. You can call our office at (480) 488-9095, or SEND US AN EMAIL with your insurance and contact information and we will call you with the benefits.

My experience with this practice was horrible. After hip replacement surgery, I contacted Carefree Physical Therapy and asked if they were in network with Cigna. (Because there is no deductible as long as the provider is in network). I was assured they were in-network, so used them for my post-op PT. They collected my co-pay every week. Six months later, I started receiving large bills because they are NOT in network and there is a large deductible for out-of-network providers. My insurance did not pay a dime. Carefree Physical Therapy takes no responsibility for lying to me to get the business

They have at least one great therapist, Cory Gersh, and maybe others; however, the front office is unfriendly and unhelpful. If you're willing to tolerate an amount of disrespect in the front lobby, you can get good PT care in the back.
