You would never expect that Jimmie East would love sunny beaches and sipping an adult beverage on his dream vacation, but who would expect a big guy like this to have such an artistic streak too? Jimmie graduated from The Tattoo Learning Center and has worked beside some of the best tattoo artists in Western New York.
Jimmie East was born in the Buffalo, NY area and has remained a devoted Buffalo Bills fan in spite of the team's faux pas in the last several years. Jimmie's passion is creating ink that you are happy with. This includes traditional tribal ink, tribute tattoos, old school or new school tattoos, portraits, script work, flowers, butterflies or your favorite icon.
As the premier tattoo shop in Buffalo, NY, our motto is: if you can dream it, we can do it! The talented artists at East Coast Ink design the sickest pieces around and can cleverly cover up past tattoo mistakes. We also offer specialty cosmetic tattooing services, including permanent makeup and areola reconstruction.

I took my 2 daughters to get their ears pierced for their birthdays and Jimmie was amazing with them! My oldest was a bit nervous, but still went through with it, but the other one decided against it. He was kind and patient with them the entire time. He walked us through the whole process and was also very sweet to my youngest who was quite inquisitive about everything. If anyone is considering getting their children's ears pierced, this is the place to go!

Great experience for being out of town! We noticed the tattoo shop as we pulled up to our hotel. Called when they opened and walked across to get pierced. My girl and I got our rook done. Very clean and down to earth owner Jimmy!!! His son pierced us and was also very clean and down to earth. In a blink of an eye I would definitely recommend East Cost Ink!!! Thanks you Guys!!!! My girl and I were in town for the weekend for my birthday. I noticed the shop as I was pulling up to a local hotel. This was a last minute decision and I couldn’t be happier with the results. At first, Jimmie comes off like you need to run for the hills lol. But after a few minutes you see he’s very nice. He has a mouth on him. So if that bothers you I’d suggest not going to him. I brought my 14 year old daughter for a nose piercing. He made her feel very comfortable. He was caring and patient. I see people saying he bribes with a coupon for a 5 star review. We were not asked that at all and we received a coupon. I don’t think I’ll be Having him over for Sunday dinner, but if we need any more piercings, I’ll definitely be going to him. Thanks for giving my daughter the tattoo

I am in love with East Coast Ink, the whole team is amazing. I walked in having a good idea what I wanted and they not only made it happen but with their experience made it better. Jimmie was hands down awesome! He told me everything he was doing, showed me everything was in the packaging and hysterical. From the time I walked in until I left I had the best experience and can’t wait to go back!!! Will not even look at going anyplace else. To say I highly recommend would be an understatement. If I could give this place no stars i definitely would. Me and my friend went in for a belly button piercing at the owner jimmy was extremely rude. Not to mention one of the employees was saying extremely inappropriate things to my friend. After I was done with my piercing I stood up and jimmy the owner said if I wanted it to look better then I should lose a few pounds. My mom ended up calling and he apologized and then offered to give me a free tattoo or piercing which I passed on. Two days later my belly button was extremely sore. I went to a different tattoo shop and they told me that they piercing

I’ve been in twice so far, got nipple piercings the first time and had a great experience. I was nervous and usually handle that with humor and Eddie and his son (I forgot your name I’m sorry) were great at keeping the mood light. Lots of jokes and laughter which helped a lot. Today I went back to get my nose pierced and had the same experience. Wonderful group of people working there, highly recommend. Will be going back in a couple weeks for another piercing and to talk about some tattoo ideas I’m interested in.

I Just read some of the reviews after I just took my 16yr old there for her nose piercing and after I received a tattoo myself- I'm shocked with the reviews because I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Im also a very hard critic and have high expectations- I don't typically review places but I had to make a review after having such an excellent experience.

Got a septum piercing done and the piercer was very shaky, didn't check the height of the septum or mark anything and pierced the hard cartilage of my nose. He then told me he "put the piercing high so I could flip it up", I believe he only noticed after that he put it up too high and tried to cover his mistake. Even if it was on purpose, it was extremely unprofessional to not check the placement with me beforehand. A complete waste of $70. Went in to get my teenager's ear pierced and Jim yelled at us for wearing masks. He said he wouldn't service my daughter because I was wearing a mask. What??? COVID is still alive and well and there is no way I would believe ole' Jimbo has been vaccinated. This man clearly has a problem. We chose this place due to the 5 star rating on Google. What a joke. I felt like something was wrong as soon as we walked in. I had no idea the shop had such a bad rating on Yelp.Thank God we dodged a bullet. Did not wear a mask. Chewed tobacco while piercing. I saw the glob of tobacco he spit out while speaking to me. Mansplained the entire time. Called me "doll" nonstop. As I enter the shop, he says, "come here, I don't bite. I do lick though." Sir you are disgusting and I wholeheartedly do not understand why you have a license to pierce.

Jimmy was beyond rude when we entered his shop for business. No hello, just "why are you here?" As he was prepping to pierce my friend's ear he put gloves on then proceeded to touch everything around the shop, and never change his gloves. I watched the whole thing. He proceeded with the unsterile piercing and then the earring snapped in half and got STUCK IN HER EAR!!!!!! Blood was gushing everywhere and one part of the earring fell on the ground. He picked the earring up FROM THE GROUND and tried to put it BACK IN HER EAR!!!! NO JOKE! This place is seriously dirty and dangerous
