At Neighbors Pediatrics, our physicians are committed to providing excellent and compassionate care for children of all ages. Your child's health is our top priority. Our team of board certified pediatricians look forward to caring for your children from birth to early adulthood. Each physician practices in one practice location, providing continuity of care for your child.
A Patient-Centered Medical Home is providing the best possible patient treatment coordinated through your child's primary care physician to ensure they receive the necessary care when and where they need it, in a manner they can understand. Give you information about classes, support groups or any other services that can help you learn more about your condition and stay healthy.
Please be aware that new patients visiting our office for the first time must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If you are unable to attend your child's appointment with Neighbors Pediatrics, please download the two forms* below and fill them out to be brought to the appointment by whomever is accompanying your child to our office.
At Neighbors Pediatrics, we strive to provide the well-rounded care that you expect for your child. In addition to the services that our experienced and compassionate medical providers offer, our hope is to provide you with helpful information around the clock. The physicians at Neighbors Pediatrics have compiled a list of resources for you to reference.
We see patients by appointment only. We make every effort to accommodate families with sick children and reserve same-day appointment slots each day. If your child gets sick in the afternoon and there are no appointments remaining, we may give you advice over the telephone and see your child the next business day.

We had recently moved to the area and I been taking our children here. I had taken my newborn baby multiple times, my two year old and five year old. It was time to take my 7 year old for his annual and my baby for his 4 month. I mistakenly scheduled the visit while we were out of town. I left a message with a woman to cancel the appointment and that I would call tomorrow to reschedule. I called the next day to reschedule and was told we were dropped as patients because we were a no show and my oldest son is a new patient. We have never had any issues with Plantation Pediatrics now Neighbors Pediatrics. Dr. Traynham is amazing and the office staff has always been very nice and attentive the last 8 years my daughter has been a patient there. Today I called to make an appointment for my newborn son, an appointment the hospital instructed me to make following his bloodwork at St. Francis. When I called the call center I was assisted by a lady name Rebecca. She asked me why I needed an appointment and I proceeded to tell her I was just following what the doctors and hospital told me. We are so thankful and beyond happy with our choice to transfer to Neighbors Pediatrics. Our daughters are 4 & 2 and we have struggled since our oldest was born to find a place that we felt cared for, loved as a family, and listened to. I regret that we didn’t find them sooner! The front office staff was so kind and helpful, the nurse who did vitals was the sweetest and Dr. Vasco was so kind & caring towards us a family. We switched to Neighbors after having an awful time with wait times and rude staff at our last pediatrician and have now been bringing our 18 month old here since she was 9 months old. Both well-care and sick visits have been easy to schedule and we never have to wait long (one of the issues with our last pediatrician.) The office staff is kind and patient and the doctors (and the doctors in training!) that we’ve seen have all been great so far. I also love the promptness and care of the after-hours on-call service.

When we were stationed here in 2009/10, we were quickly referred to Plantation Pediatrics for my children's primary care. Dr. Kornegay did an amazing job with helping us navigate the world of premature babies and did everything in his power to help keep our preemie well. Needless to say, when we were transferred, we were devastated. Fast forward 3yrs and we were sent back to Charleston, so back to PP we went! This group of doctors are like family. Plantation Pediatrics is absolutely amazing! We have been going for 2 years and NEVER had a bad experience. Dr. Tyner was my daughters doctor and she made us feel so comfortable. The first year for my daughter was rough since we were in and it of the doctors for breathing issues and ear infections at least twice a month. Dr.Tyner was always so kind and made my daughter so comfortable. We love plantation pediatrics! I have been taking my three children to Dr. Good. She is excellent! Always very kind and professional. I trust her and my children adore her.
