I'm a returning customer to Rubber Soul..... I was a teenager last time I shopped with them and my father foot the bill but I always remembered how pleasant my previous experience was. As soon as I walked in, Esther greeted me and immediately offered to assist me. Great service! I called in asking if they could verify that a bike I was interested in buying second hand had in fact been purchased from this shop. I had some red flags go off talking with the bike's seller since there was some misleading info in the ad. Long story short, the guys I talked to over the phone were able to verify the bike they had sold years ago and confirmed that it was not some counterfeit craigslist scam. Great service even though I wasn't going to buy anything from them but if I'm ever around the area I would definitely stop by.

I have ridden a road bike for nearly 40 years and tried a mountain bike on the trails of Tesoro Viejo and loved it. So I looked for a used mountain bike on line at all the usual sites until it made me BONKERS with the scammers, "Franken Bikes" at $900 and 5-10 year old bike selling for near retail. Don't do what I did, go to Rubber Soul

Great bike shop in both service and knowledgeable staff. Solid inventory too. Jon is definitely a go to guy when looking for a bike and Robert is a great mechanic. They both took time even though they we busy to help me out and dial in my bike. Great selection of bikes, Road, Mtn, e-bikes, gravel. Much better experience doing business with them vs a big market shop. I'll buy my future bike from them.

First off let's get the cliche statement out of the way, I basically never jump on these types of platforms to give any review good or bad. This is my go to cycle store. I bought my road bike through someone from an online reused app, but turns out the bike was actually purchased through rubber soul. The girl I bought it from- is actually someone who met me at the store and connected me with Pablo, who helped me adjust the seat. I had a great first experience, so I went back to purchase a bike for my son, who was 7 at the time. Pablo recommended the bike and my son loved it, we got him a specialized mountain bike. This place is bad. I ordered a bike online and went to pick up before they said it was ready and was told it was sold. Walked around the store told him my budget, he kept trying to upsale me for a higher version that I did not want. I then see the bike sold the same day. Please keep your internet inventory active. Pay more for a better POS system. Second instance checked on specialized website for a helmet - using different colors and it shows stock went in and none were available. I'm truly disappointed 10 thumbs down if I have it

I came in to this store being new to the bicycle Industry and I expected them to give me advise and tips but the employee was not helpful or pleasant. They gave me a quote over the phone and when I got to the store they charged me different. If you're new to bikes and looking I don't recommend this place.

After calling and asking for the owner/manager about my prior issue, I went back to get my kickstand, which was put on fast and efficient Anyhoo Robair "followed up" asked about my bike rack I purchased prior , Asked me if I've tightened it up, asked about my bike etc. (It's called customer (continued) service kiddos...... don't tease it, LEARN FROM HIM) My friend that was there with me was asking him about a 1200.00 bike rack and Robair suggested a below 200.00 tailgate type cover bike holder.....which my friend bought

This bike shop has some of the best customer service I've ever had at a bike shop.
I recently bought a bike for my daughter here. Due to the bike shortage we couldn't find the bike she wanted locally. While looking online I found the bike she wanted in her size here at Rubber Soul.
We drove up from San Diego, almost 700 miles round trip to buy her bike and everyone at this shop was awesome to work with.
I can't call them my local bike shop, but I will definitely be giving them more of my business in the future.
I highly recommend Rubber Soul Bicycles.

Sarah was super friendly and helpful! We never felt too pressured, or ignored. Driving by, we ended up deciding to stop and see some options for a new bike. They even let us bring the puppy in with us!
We were given options for layaway, and even to put money down-and get a full refund if we changed our mind. In the end we were smitten by a new Specialized Diverge in the size we were looking for, and rode away happy on the same day. Only wish is that they’d be open every day.

My daughter got a puncture in her tire on her bicycle and we were unsure what to do. To buy a patch or buy a new tire. I was calling some bike shops and this place was the most friendliest and explained to me that I would just need to buy an inner tube for the tire and not a brand new tire. They told me that they were not able to fix any bikes that were not purchased there quickly because they were so backed up with work. If I wanted them to fix it, it would take possibly 2-3 weeks before I get my daughter's bicycle back. The employee suggested that I just watch videos online or looks at instructions

Where do I start with Rubber Soul? Ben and Rich are like a tattoo on the Fresno cycling scene. My experience with both of them started in the late 90's when I first moved to Fresno. Like friendly faces who greeted me to The Fresno cycling community and made me feel welcomed.
Both have owned their own shop and I have done business with both, my many bikes bought. Also lots bike parts and shared stories and adventures.
When I started racing road and mountain bikes they were there always supportive. This is something you will not find online at some bike store a thousand miles away.

After 4 years of going to spin class at GB3, I finally decided to step up my game and purchase cycling shoes. I bought my shoes at REI and cleats that disappointed me the next morning because those didn't click with GB3 bikes :( So I went back and asked what were the right cleats. They told me they had them but not the adapter to install them on the shoe (double bummer). However they recommended me Rubber Soul and that perhaps they had a solution or I would need to purchase different shoes.
