We have lived in Loudoun County since 1999, moving here for Mike to take the PGA Head Golf Professional job at Westpark Golf Club. We've lived in Sterling, Ashburn, and Leesburg, before finally settling in Purcellville in 2004, building a new construction home in the Village Case neighborhood. We love Loudoun County and relish being unofficial ambassadors to this beautiful place we call home.

We are Heather and Michael Elias. We started our real estate team back in 2004, and launched this site in 2007 to share information about life and real estate in Loudoun County. Since then, the site has grown to include the premiere home search experience for Northern Virginia, along with a ton of buying and selling resources.

The LoCo Real Estate team was founded in 2004, and we have taken pride in being 'unofficial ambassadors' for Loudoun County from the start. Since 1999, we've lived in Sterling, Ashburn, Leesburg, and finally Purcellville. We've raised four children here and helped countless clients buy and sell homes here.

Aldie is an historic town tucked into a gap between Catoctin Mountain and Bull Run Mountain in the southeastern corner of Loudoun County. The area is best known for its' original grist mill, the only one in Virginia with twin overshot waterwheels. The mill was first built in 1785, and the village grew around it.

I was an out of state client trying to sell a second home and Mike and the team there could not have done any better for us. We faced a very very challenging buyer and navigated through many unforeseen circumstances, but these guys were awesome helping me navigate through every scenario we encountered. Heather helped us find our home back in 2007. She was AWESOME. Took the time to listen to what we were looking for and what our future plans were. We had our own list of homes we wanted to see but based on our feedback she was able to find a house that we hadn't even considered and it fit us perfectly. We ended up buying her pick over all of ours. We were treated with kindness and patience throughout the entire experience .
