Services
Transplantation to the eyebrows, also known as eyebrow restoration is a procedure designed to restore growing hair to eyebrows that are overly thin, scarred, or completely missing. The absence of hair can be due to genetics, prior electrolysis or laser hair removal, over-plucking, thyroid or other hormonal abnormalities, or trauma due to surgery, burns or other types of accidents.
The hair follicles are harvested from the strip by a skilled clinical team before being individually transplanted to the recipient areas. In most cases, and especially cases of advanced hair loss, FUT is the preferred method because it allows the physician to fully utilize the scalp area to deliver results consistent with patient expectations.
Most cases of hair loss in women are due to inherited female pattern balding, but medical conditions can also be involved, such as low thyroid or iron levels, hormonal imbalances such as elevated testosterone, binge dieting, and pregnancy. Another cause of hair loss in women is the distortion of hair growth and scarring as a result of prior plastic surgery, injury or burns.

Had my procedure November 23rd 2021 and it was great. Mike and Chris were amazing. I was nervous about the procedure itself and having to sit for 6-8ish hours but the guys made it fun. We had a lot of great conversations and put my mind at ease. We're about two months in right now and my new sprouts are growing in nicely. I highly recommend HRA of Buffalo for anyone who is considering hair restoration. The price was fair, the facility is spotless and the staff is fantastic.

My complete and honest review here. Had my surgery in October of 2020. I am a high Norwood around 6 or 7 with my genetics. My first half of my head was pretty bald, with my back half still having hair. The goal of this surgery was to give my front half of my head, hair back. So on this October day, I was excited. Surgery went well with no complications. With my front half of head having grafts placed. As the months went by, only half of my recipient site (where they placed the hair) grew. I visited Dr. Mike in October of 2020 to address my receding hairline. to see where Dr. Mike matched up with Bosley, I enjoyed the procedure would be done locally (instead of Ohio), price point was excellent and the team at Hair Restoration & Aesthetcs of Buffalo doesn't limit to a specific follicle limit rather agree upon a style and will do everything in their effort for the end product to look as agreed upon.

If I could leave more stars I would, first class experience from start to finish, from my first correspondence with them they were prompt in response, knowledgeable and awesome at making you understand everything… went in last week for my 5 month checkup after a hair restoration and I could legitimately see how exited mike and Chris were with my results ,it’s already beyond my expectations and we aren’t even to 6 months, if you are considering hair restoration you’d be crazy to look anywhere else in WNY. I visited Dr. Mike in April, 2021 to address my receding hairline. After 5 months, I am very pleased with the results. Although the procedure was an all-day affair, Dr. Mike and his assistant, Chris, ensured that I was comfortable the entire time. Even when I was concerned about a few small areas that I felt could use a few more grafts, Dr. Mike was completely understanding and offered to do a touch-up. I can’t wait to see what it looks like in another 5 months. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner!
