Your Jeweler was established in Carterville, Illinois in 1988. Our business started as a wholesale trade shop. We had four jewelers doing repairs and service work for many of the other area jewelry stores and jewelry departments throughout Southern Illinois. We opened our first retail store in 1991, located on Plaza Drive in Carterville.
After fifteen successful years, we outgrew our building and in 2006, constructed and moved into a new building, which is now our current location on West Commercial Drive off route 13. You may know it as the Merchant's Walk Strip Mall. Each member of our team is passionate about the jewelry business.

Two Thumbs Up! I was looking for a Jeweler to purchase a ring for engagement. I went to several around the area and narrowed it down to 2 places. I came here first and a lady (Laura) helped me and did an amazing job explaining the quality and clarity of diamonds. She took all the time needed for me to be educated and help me find the perfect loose diamond to go with the style of ring I was looking for , for such an important day. Such great service is rare lately! My husband brought his watch in, a watch he didn't buy there, to get a new battery. The technician accidentally damaged the watchband. They said they'd take care of it completely. They tried, but were unsuccessful in getting a band for it, so they bought my husband a brand new watch, just about identical to the old one. We had to wait a couple of weeks while they shopped around, but were thrilled to get such a close replacement, all for the cost of just a watch battery.

Attempted to have my ring size measured.
That I could see, there were three workers in the store.
One was outside of the back work area, but he couldn't be bothered to look up from his desk. He muffled "Hi" after I made my way to the opposite side counter. Even then, that was all he could say.
The woman in the back appeared to be working. The other man was sitting and on his phone.
"Hello. How are you today? Is there anything we can help you with?" seems pretty standard - but when I could hardly get a muffled "Hi" or an eye contact acknowledgement, I decided to drive to Carbondale.

If I could give this fabulous business more than 5 stars I would do it. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry, reasonable prices, and a knowledgeable and friendly staff.
My husband told Desiree what type of jewelry that I wear and she helped him pick out a gorgeous ring for me to replace my original wedding ring. I couldn't have picked out a more perfect ring myself. Thank you, Desiree!!
Desiree also assisted me when I went in to get it sized and appraised.

I bought my wife's engagement and wedding rings here a few years back and recent got her a pair of diamond studs. I've never had anything but excellent service. Rob and his staff have always been friendly and straight forward with us. My whole extended family goes into the store. When you stop in make sure to check out the parrot and say hello to him.
