We keep trying to give this antique mall another chance. In the 4 times that we’ve visited we have witnessed the owner being rude and abrupt to her dealers and her customers. The closing time is ambiguous and appears to get earlier with each visit. We are made to feel unwelcome and rushed.
I am a partner in an antique mall with a similar business model. We and our sweet dealers would never dream of being so rude to our precious customers. On the many evenings when we still have people in the shop at or past closing we will gently tell them that we are closing but they are welcome to finish a

The Woman who owns this store "Francine" Is a very NASTY excuse for human !
She is mean, rude, overbearing ,unprofessional, has Narcissistic personality disorder and more . (She Needs Professional HELP!) ...
We witnessed her horrible and demeaning to her employees with every word out of her mouth, even once over not having the RIGHT ink pen on the counter, to sign me credit card receipt..No Discover or Amex excepted .
She made a comment to me that vendor who's space I was purchasing from was a imbecile, nice way to build up the people you take

Highway 41 Antiques is HUGE! There is so much to see, you could spend all day finding unique treasures. With 12,000 square feet of shopping, I have found so many of the items I had been looking for. They have a large outdoor patio & garden area along with 2 enclosed rooms stocked full, perfect for finding any type of handyman tools & gadgets. They even have 3 additional rooms in an upstairs area...They have updated their HOURS OF OPERATION, they're OPEN @ 10:00 AM-CLOSED @ 4:30 SHARP EVERY DAY. If you want it, they will more than likely have it at prices that can't be beat! LOVE THIS PLACE!

I dont know how I've missed this place for the last 10 years. They have quite alot of inventory, well organized and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stop.
Some of these negative reviews are straight misleading...excessive...and laughable Ms. Francine from my experience has been just fine by me and the wife.
Wish we live closer.

We had a very unpleasant experience here before (owner berating employee for no valid reason - and yes, we heard it all), but wanted to give them a second chance to see if things had improved. Sadly, the three employees huddled together in the check out area all were wearing their masks under their chins. . . Nowhere was there any evidence that they are taking the COVID requirements seriously. We won't waste our time giving them a third chance... Sad...

I have been searching for a nice diamond ring. I was in Morro Bay today so I decided to stop in this antique store. Bad mistake. I walked right up to the jewelry counter and started looking at diamond rings. The owner and another lady were behind another counter close by. I politely asked the lady if the rings were arranged by size. She abruptly said no. Then I asked do you know the size of this ring as I pointed to the case. I was hoping she would move over to where I was but no reaction came from her. Unbelievable! Needless to say they lost a possible $400 dollar or more sell today. I will

My husband I came here on a rainy day, and it was the perfect place to browse. The booths are neatly organized. We were able to browse at our own pace and the staff were all nice and polite. When we were looking at the estate jewelry, a staff brought us a portable light for us to see better. There was one woman who seemed to be the boss and she came over to let us know they are willing to negotiate and make a deal. I fell in love with a few rings, but decided on a beautiful topaz ring which fit my finger beautifully! Next time we are in Morro Bay, I will definitely return.

This is a huge space filled with booths of vendors. It is set up well so that you can browse through all the rows of items. There is an area upstairs, an area outside in the back, and now there is an area sort of indoor-outdoor (area 51!!) I have shopped here countless times and although most things are overpriced, I usually find something I can't live without. All good, right? No.
The outside area is often occupied with smokers, and they don't keep the door closed so the smoke travels inside the store!! If you work here and need to smoke, do it in your car please. Also, the owner is

Francine, the owner of this antique mall, is extremely rude, judgmental, unprofessional, and is costing her vendors good business and money. She does not value customers--period. If you are a vendor looking for a booth to rent, run away from this place as fast as you can.
If you are a buyer, also stay away. There are many more wonderful antique shops full of treasures, with owners who will treat you with respect. My husband and I are frequent antique buyers. We've been to most antique shops in the area, from Cayucos to SLO to Paso, and this is the place we have received the absolute worst

Fabulous vendors! We always find things here. Why the two stars? It is a huge store and they will NOT let you use the restroom. They make you walk to the hardware store or lumberyard. They also have no trash can. Go figure! I just spent an hour carrying around an empty water bottle. Seriously? So, go before you stop and hope you have enough time to peruse leisurely. They clearly don't encourage it!

Prices seemed high on almost everything I considered buying. Saw items that were literally twice the price I had just seen at another mall nearby. Other items were 2 1/2 to 5 times more than what I have paid elsewhere for similar items. It also has a high percentage of new decor/fake antique junk. But that wasn't the worst of it.
Ick. The place is disgusting. Reeked of cigarette smoke, both old stale smoke and fresh smoke. An elderly woman was sitting about 5 feet from the side door smoking up a storm and it filled about 1/3 of this store with smoke. Fabric items stunk. We couldn

This store is great. Big and filled to the brim with collectibles and antiques. From jewelry to decorative for the home. Mostly vintage and antique. Many dealers with different areas set up nicely for browsing. The 2 ladies working here are fun and eager to help. Reasonable prices and great selection.

I love antiques. I'm young, very into mid-century decor and all that jazz. Now, in my experience people working at stores like this are very friendly ( I occasionally work in trade for a bridal and consignment store in my hometown) This was not the good, friendly customer service that I'm used to. I was really excited about something that I had seen but wasn't planning on getting that particular item. I attempted to strike up a conversation with the ladies at the counter ( having had wonderful and interesting conversations with employees at other antique stores on more than one occasion

I love going to thrift stores and shopping for vintage/antique items. My husband and I decided to stop by this place, as I had never been here. There is a lot of different styles and items to choose from. I would say the prices are "mid range"- there are other places in Morro Bay charging far more for items. The staff and even a few customers were waking around drinking wine, which I had never seen before in a place that isn't a bar/restaurant/winery, but it didn't bother me. I picked some items I liked, paid, and went on my way. I would definitely go back.

Horrible customer service, this place seriously deserves zero stars. We are traveling from Northern California and stopped by this place because I am a huge antique collector and often broker antiques online. I was so excited to go into this place, however, when my kids and I walked in, the pretentious elderly lady yelled from across the store, please keep an eye on your children (mind you they were literally by my side) and she continues to yell across the store, "watch your kids, do you see what your daughter just grabbed? It was a inexpensive salt shaker ($4) If she breaks it,YOU pay for

If I was to base my review on the inventory of this store, I may have been able to provide more stars for my rating.
However, the utterly horrible customer service that we received- multiple times during one trip- leaves me with no other option than to leave a one star review. And we will never return to the store.
My husband and I visit antique stores often. We also have our own antique booths at fairs, etc. We know how this stuff works. But during this trip there was a particular item that caught our interest for our own home. We asked the friendly lady at the counter if prices were negotiable

I love perusing antique malls. There are different types of shops some are owned and run all by one person, others like this place display wares from a host of different people who collect, display and price their own wares. I love these kinds of places because there is such a diverse collection of items!
This one even has wine tasting! The atmosphere is very laid back and inviting staff greet you when you walk in and let you know they appreciate you being there. I noticed that the shop is clean, that's a huge feat for such a large place! I have been to other smaller shops that have a dust
