A little bit about us, My Wedding Songbird originally started in 2010 as an event entertainment company providing live music for weddings. Many years later, we have established into a full service event planning company since 2016. Our power team consists of several talented coordinators as well as a powerful staff support team under the leadership of the principal planner.

Sarah did an incredible job making sure my wedding was a dream!! Months prior we met to discuss all of my many questions, requests and expectations and she quickly put me at ease. I reached out to several planners and Sarah was the only one who was as meticulous and careful as I am. Sarah is amazing!! She took my work scrambled brain and kept me on track, and provided good tips and insight where needed. I couldn't have planned a wedding within 7 months (on top of buying and renovating a home) without her help. Not to mention it was a backyard wedding so we needed to find everything ourselves! Sarah was an amazing wedding planner. I recommended her to my friend who was stressed about planning her wedding. I heard from other sources that Sarah was super good at what she does. Being a bride who had very limited resources and only got 3 months for planning, I would say Sarah's help was significant. During our first meeting, Sarah quickly sorted all the ideas I got and planned according to my schedule and budget. She made this spreadsheet that was super helpful for us to keep tracking on progress! She also went above and beyond helping me looking into different sources including DJ, wedding decorations

Sarah was awesome in planning our wedding! We had our wedding in LA, but we were living in the northeast. We knew planning a wedding from the opposite coast would be difficult and struggled to figure things out from such a distance. Sarah was such a great help and we are so happy we chose to work with her. Sarah performed as the MC at my association’s Lunar New Year banquet (260 guests). She came to a couple of the planning meetings when been asked. She was very responsive, returned emails, texts and phone calls in a timely manner. Sarah was our wedding coordinator, and did MC duties. We choose the day-of package. Overall very helpful, it would definitely be a lot more stressful without her! She has experience which is what you pay for. For example, how to manage the crowd, the games to play and when to do them, and how to handle relatives and various types of people and vendors. We did some things ourselves but a coordinator/MC is someone you want to hire, ideally someone experienced. Would recommend!

My husband and I got to work with Sarah for our wedding this past month on 10/20. It was the best experience to have a wedding planner on our side along our wedding planning as we only had 5 months to plan. Right after we hired Sarah, she gave us a great timeline for us to follow through for each month counting down to our wedding week and it helped us with our organization and stay on top of our tasks.

I found Sarah through Yelp and was able to book her a few months before my wedding!
She was so flexible and worked with my requests!
I had her as a surprise singer for my husband as I was walking down the aisle and there was not a dry eye in the chapel!
She also sang our first dance, father daughter and mother and son songs. Needless to say there were many tears from the groom and all the guests so mission accomplished!
