This FREE service will help whether you're in a crisis situation or planning for the future. We'll guide you through the maze of information on senior housing by meeting with you personally. Our years of experience and knowledge will give you the confidence you need to make an educated decision. With a decision this difficult, it's nice to talk face to face.
However, that may not be the most beneficial for you. With one place to call, our first appointment will give you all the information you need to start. Whether your desire is independent living with a continuum of care or your loved one needs assisted living, we will guide you through the whole process.

Because finding the right housing solution for a loved one will be one of the hardest things you'll ever do. The staff at the Alliance for Senior Housing, LLC has worked with families throughout Traverse City and the surrounding areas for over 20 years and will help you through the process of selecting a residence.
We'll set a consultation appointment that accommodates your needs: face to face, phone or Zoom/telehealth. A confidential consultation to discuss your desires and specific financial situation. You'll receive information on types of senior housing, cost and funding options that may be available. Together, we'll narrow the residences selected and provide you with photos, virtual tours or on-site visits (if possible).
We have already done the "footwork" for you by researching and touring independent living a assisted living in Traverse City. We also serve Leelanau, Antrim, Benzie, Kalkaska, Wexford and Missaukee Counties. We look forward to speaking with you and you'll hear back from us within the day. Each client has specific and unique needs and we promise to address them when we speak together.
We'll bring lunch! Attorneys, doctors, trust officers, financial advisers can benefit their patients or clients by being educated on assisted living and other senior housing. We can have a sit down lunch or staff can come and go. The Resource Recess is a recess for adults! Done in a lighthearted format with dessert and beverage, while learning about all Northern Michigan has to offer in senior housing.
Below are descriptions of the senior housing options and the differences between them. Each home has it's own policy for what is included in the rent and the cost for levels of care. What does independent living mean? A person who is able to do all their own Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) such as, bathing, dressing, cooking, shopping, etc. living in their own home or condo that they maintain.

Not sure where to start, however we need to say that Connie's service in this area ( assisted living , homes) is invaluable! Connie is an absolute pro at helping. She came to my 92 yr. old Mom's home ande if there was and assessed where she may be comfortable . Connie found a few GREAT places locally and even took us to visit. We are still on the fence as we live in Indiana and vacation in Northern Michigan as much as possible. We decided to see if there were any assisted living communities in our local. We started by trying to find a person like Connie in our area. No such luck nobody knew ANYONE

We first met with Connie at Alliance for Senior Housing about 5 years ago when our parents began considering moving from their large condo into independent living. Connie came to their home, met with all of us and explained not only all of the various housing options, but also all of the available facilities and the pros and cons of each. She assisted our parents in narrowing the choices and drove them to visits. Although they decided not to move at that time, she remained an invaluable guide as circumstances changed over the years. She was a constant source of wisdom coupled with compassion, and

Connie is absolutely a life and sanity saver. She found an incredible place (Joy Givers) for my mom and assisted with all the information. Then as my moms dementia worsened, and quickly, Connie went to work for us again by finding another location to handle my moms new requirements.
She is truly a gifted wonderful lady who goes beyond the call of duty. You owe it to yourself to put your trust in her.
Thank you Connie!

It took my parents 3 years of thinking and looking for just the right location. Connie patiently and thoroughly explained the options and guided them in their research and with visits to many facilities. She was so wonderful through the whole process that she became a family friend and we will always appreciate her loving and thoughtful efforts!

Navigating the maze of elder health care decisions can be demoralizing and daunting. Each step of the way can lead to a brick wall or a little bit of light. That was our experience before we connected with Connie Hintsala at Alliance For Senior Housing. Then positivity and possibilities were laid out before us. Connie is a bright guiding light! Her business acumen, professional expertise and charismatic connection expose the compassion and caring she brings to the process at a time when they are needed the most. From the first warm encounter to choosing a place and following up, we felt comforted
