BEAMERS STRIVES to be a positive light to all children by providing qualified instructors in a safe environment while teaching the fundamentals of gymnastics and cheerleading. We aim to accomplish this by providing a 6:1 student-teacher ratio in all of our gymnastics classes and an 8:1 ratio for cheer classes.
We provide a Christian atmosphere where each student is trained athletically and individually encouraged, so they are able to achieve their goals and be successful. Beamers staff is dedicated to providing each student with the necessary training for their skill level in order to advance him or her in sport, as well as in life.

Services
Beamers Gymnastics is owned & operated by Traci Kana since June of 2017. Beamers was established in 1987 under the direction of Dominique Aguirre. Traci worked under her leadership for 15 years prior to taking over the gym. Our Gymnastics facility is 8000 square feet with a in ground pit, 40 foot tumble trampoline, with equipment and training tools that cover all 4 Olympic gymnastics events.
My name is Amber Massey and I am the owner of a Family Child Care business serving children from 2 years to 5 years. It's very important for me that my kids get the best opportunities for growth in all areas of development. Beamer's gymnastics is part of our weekly curriculum, and my kids are more confident because of it!
This is an all-girl gymnastics class where they are grouped according to their age and ability level. They practice beginner gymnastics skills on all 4 Olympic events: Vault, Bars, Beam, & Floor plus the Tumble Trak & Mini Trampoline. We incorporate many other pieces of equipment to help teach skills and gain strength, such as, the rope, foam pit, monkey bars, rock wall, etc.
Back by popular demand, this co-ed class is based off the television show "American Ninja Warrior". A new obstacle course is set up every 3rd week. We utilize every piece of equipment in the gym to help your child gain strength, agility, balance, & coordination. Your child will enjoy friendly contests and competitions among their classmates.

There are other gymnastic gyms in Abilene but I only recommend Beamers. The owner is one of the nicest persons you'll meet. Her and the staff love the gymnasts and give each student one on one time no matter what level they are striving to reach. They listen to the parents of there is a concern and bend over backwards (no pun intended) to serve all the members. The level of experience the staff offer to the gymnasts is without equal in my opinion. This place deserves 10 stars!

My daughter has taken gymnastics at Beamers for 7 years and loves it. Both owners have been fantastic and the atmosphere is positive and encouraging. As a mom and a physical therapist, I pay close attention to safety and technique by the coaches. They do conditioning for every aspect of every skill. They very intentionally progress each gymnast according to her own ability and never push my daughter to attempt a skill she isn't ready for. I'm amazed at the strength, flexibility, balance, and poise my gymnast has developed, not to mention how much fun she has while working hard.

I went there for 4 years and all she learned haw to do was a back walkover. For the cheer and tumble programs it isn't very good. If you go on their website and go to competitive cheer Blue Squad my I am still in the picture that they took at NCA. Most of their staff are mostly still in college. My mom and I left and went to The Flip House Cheer and Tumble. I have my back tuck. If you break a bone whenever you are allowed to start doing things again the treat you like a baby 👶. Some of the staff members are nice other not so much.

Beware - join at your own risk. We signed our daughter up for the Fall session. Due to illness, she had to miss some classes. When we attempted to reschedule to make up classes, she wasn't allowed to make-up the classes. When our daughter began to have more health issues, we told Beamers we would need to remove her from the classes. Even though we were forced to remove her due to illness, Beamers continued to demand payment for classes she never attended. Not to mention, we paid for classes she was not able to make-up. I also think it is shady for Beamers to only accept cash or checks.
