By providing surviving family and friends with an atmosphere of care and support in which to share thoughts and feelings about death, funerals are the first step in the healing process. It is the traditional way to recognize the finality of death. Funerals are recognized rituals for the living to show their respect for the dead and to help survivors begin the grieving process.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
Some of the deceased's family members may be able to receive Social Security benefits if the deceased person worked long enough under Social Security to quality for benefits. You should get in touch with Social Security as soon as you can to make sure the family receives all of the benefits to which it may be entitled.

Funeral Director John Kelly took care of our needs and special requirements of my brother. Everything was handled smoothly, efficiently and with great compassion. We were informed every step of the way, without being intrusive, of all logistics. Feit Funeral Home was the most cost effective for our situation and we didn't have any pressure to upgrade to unnecessary frills (although those options were available if wanted). Funeral Director Kelly will work with you.

My family used them when my grandmother passed earlier this year. They were absolutely amazing. If you want a funeral home that makes you feel like family they are the ones to use. We had contacted another funeral home in the area to compare and The Fait funeral home far exceeded the level of compassion and caring that was received from their competitors. I can’t say enough good things about.
