Scott and Linda Freedman opened the original store in Topsham, Maine in 1989. The store grew over the years and is now in Falmouth still run by the Freedman's along with their daughter Cassie. Our mission is to help make parenting more affordable by offering the best resale and new products at reasonable prices.

The Scarborough location adds to the already wide array of kids products found in Falmouth. Conveniently located at 21 Hannaford Dr. next to Hannaford Grocery store, It's a great place to sell your kid's outgrown items and shop for great deals for the growing family. The Manchester store opened in 1990 and has been in the same location for nearly 29 years.

If you want to go to a second hand store and buy a used LL BEAN jacket for a five year old and spend $79.00, then by all means, this is your place! So overpriced, it's border line cruel. The only reason this place stays open is because it's in the 3rd most yuppie town in Maine

In reading the reviews I suspect my experience trying to give them nice clothes and other items can shed some light on why their inventory is not as good anymore.... I have stopped bringing my items there because they are either too busy to bother with checking them and giving me a price, or they have a bit of an attitude toward people bringing in items to sell. That is the lifeblood of their business! About 6 months ago I brought them some clothes that had never been worn. They didn't want them. At that point I got the hint and started to just bring my items to Goodwill.

I brought in hundreds of dollars worth of items. Some items were still brand new with tags. I was told they were not going to be accepted yesterday due to the "condition they were in". I then said OK you can just donate them. I then later found that these donated items were placed outside in the rain just a just a couple of blocks away from me. With a free sign stuck out next to them. My issue is these items could have helped a lot of families and they are now ruined from being out in the rain.

I reluctantly give this place one star.. I brought a couple of pottery barn children's lamps in excellent condition into the store.. There were 2 people behind the counter that barely greeted me. They made me feel like I was bothering them. Before I could even say a word the women quickly said " I'm going to pass on those.." in a very rude manner.. I paid $150 for these lamps and she made me feel like I just dug in the trash and was bring her in broken old dirty lamps, As I turned to. leave I noticed a baby walker that appeared to be worn and dirty.. So not sure what she see worthy of resale items

I love this store and appreciate the prices and quality of cloths and toys. I can always find what I need and lots of extra fun stuff too:-) Because I do lIke the store I was hesitant to add this but feel I should. As a young mom coming in with a little one I wish the staff was more welcoming. I have been surprised everytime at how unfriendly (most) of the staff is. My child is good natured and not noisy so I don't think that is causing the cold shoulder I always feel. In short, I love this store but the unfriendliness of the staff has actually made me rush my shopping and leave early discouraged

I used to love this place, great items, reasonable prices, and gently used. However, the clothing selection is just terrible now. The items are over priced, some are within 50 cents of what they cost new. The condition of the clothing is the biggest disappointment. Everything is stained, pilled, or well worn. My most recent visit, 95% of the clothing I looked at was stained. Stained at retail pricing is a definite pass for me. They do have a great selection of baby equipment and the pricing on that is very reasonable. But I'm not spending $3.99 on a well worn Cat and Jack shirt when Target

So glad I found a place to give my kids gently used toys and cloths to. Here I know someone else will find them and hopefully like them and they will continue to be used. Also I am helping keep a local business stay in business! Sure they don’t give you much for your stuff but I can’t imagine what they pay for rent so... I’m happy! Yay Lots for Tots!

Amazing finds! Great selection and such a friendly knowledgeable staff. Their return policy is amazing for fussy babies who can't communicate what they like or don't like. Their clothing selection is one of the best around. This is one of my go to spots for play gear AND clothes because when you're a new mom you need to maximize your shopping trips outside the house! Great store.

Kids, they need a lot of stuff. This place is great, most of the stuff seems in good to great condition. The clothing doesn't seem to over priced but the kids toy section can be great to find some gently used things at a much better price than brand new. If you are in the need for kids things from baby items to bigger kids I would highly suggest checking here.

I’m disappointed selling clothes here. My child’s clothes are clean and in good condition, but they buy only a few items for a few dollars. Not really sure what they’re looking, for they’re not LL Bean brand, more like Children’s Place. If I’m shopping consignment to save money, I don’t care about brands as long as the clothes are nice and clean. I won’t bother to go back, it’s not worth the drive.

Don't pay full price for baby stuff when you can pay a fraction of the price for like new baby stuff. Clothes, sheets, cribs, toys, pack n plays, strollers etc.. Also they buy used baby stuff. Great place friendly and knowledgeable staff. We try any buy everything we need for our granddaughter at Lots For Totes.

I went to Lots for Tots for the first time today for some maternity clothes, and I will definitely be going back! They had a whole wall of maternity things and I found several things I liked. I did notice they seemed to have more selection in smaller sizes than larger sizes, but that may just depend on when you go. Prices seem very fair and they seem have a large selection of children's clothes and also baby gear in general (strollers, pack&plays, carriers, etc.) There's definitely a few things I will plan to go back for once baby is born. Staff was friendly.

I love this place! I can almost always find the things I need or want for my almost four-year-old daughter, and my son (due in July) in great condition for much less than I would pay for new. And they have a good selection of maternity clothes that you won't feel guilty about the cost of because you'll only wear them for a few months!

I have great luck here every time I go. All of their clothing and shoes are quality and looks like new despite being second hand. This is my number one place for children's clothing ! Great toy and book options as well. Love Lots for Tots!

This location is a bit more congested than the falmouth location. Give yourself time to get through. Lots of clothes from preemie to kids sorted by size but not clearly marked as to where the size you are looking for is. There are also jackets, suits, sportswear including cleats etc. Large assortment if toys for all age ranges; strollers, highchairs and walkers; new toys are mostly Melissa and Doug with competitive pricing; bicycles, tricycles and training tricycles on my last trip. Lots of books and puzzles but not very well sorted so plan on digging or unpiling to see what they have. This location

They have a large selection of almost everything and several new items too. However, their clothing is a bit over priced for the amount of wear and out dated styles of some. But you can find some good deals especially when they have clearance sales. Selling your items here, don't expect a whole lot. They will give you about 1/3 of what they will sell it for, or less, even new items unopened items.

Fantastic selection most of the time and always well-priced. The stuff is used to be sure but always in good condition and the staff is helpful. They price their Bean stuff a bit crazy but that's to be expected in most places.

Love this place, good quality items, always new stuff, good prices. one time i bought a toy there that didn't work but usually there isn't a problem. I do wish they would have something for frequent shoppers, like a punch card with a discount after a certain number of purchases or notify you when big items come in.
