About my wife Marce's experience.
Dr Craig Austin and his team of experts have met all of her expectations in her hair care and skin care needs. Her primary care doctor highly recommended Dr Austin twelve years ago. Her concern was skin and hair. She found out that she had a skin condition called melasma. She also was concerned about her hair, which seemed to be thinning on the sides and top of her head, the start of female pattern boldness. Sadly, for some women these conditions can be attributed to the aging process. Taking care of our bodies is an investment and is important for our physical

I will not be returning to this doctors office. I went in for an appointment and was prescribed a medication . When I went to my pharmacy they informed me a prior authorization was needed. I called and left messages and never received a call back. I called to try and make an appointment just to try to get a live person, and I did. That lady was very nice and assured me someone would call me that day or the next to resolve the issue. To this date I still haven’t received a call back or received the medication I needed.

EVERYBODY there from beginning to end was INCREDIBLE! Almost NO wait time. I saw Carolyn who, along with the nurse (Im so sorry, I was stressed & forgot her name), were great! They both explained everything very clearly. They took the time to answer all of my questions & make sure I understood. It was a very real health scare (having a previous skin cancer) & everyone was so kind, patient & understanding. What a great staff! I love them already!!!

Went there because I had a bad rash on my face since April. After they couldn't get my rash under control they did a biopsy of one of the bumps and said it was hives. They then did a patch allergy test. The results were not explained so that I could actually understand the cause and then they told me to make an appt. to see an Allergist. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this place. They work completely by guesswork without a resolution.

This is one of the worst doctors offices I’ve been to in quite a while. Dr. Austin has done great things for my daughter, and Patricia has been amazing. However the office staff is the worst. They practically scowl at you when you arrive fir your appointment. It’s impossible to make appointments or request refills by phone. I routinely leave 2-3 messages in their voicemail and are never called back. It’s phone roulette- you just have to keep calling until someone picks up (rarely). After 3 days of calling them, they finally picked up and promised me that they would submit a refill request

I absolutely love this office. They were able to get me in quickly. Dr.Austin and Caroline are amazing ! Very understanding and take the time to explain everything that's going on. The most important is that they both listen to your concerns and try there best to address them. I highly recommend this office.

I am still recovering from the lack of safe medical practices , and patient care, at this so-called medical office. After waiting 35 minutes, with nobody in the waiting room for most of that time, the doctor entered with her nurse. I explained my scalp issues...the next thing I know I am getting jabbed in the side of my head. You do not just take a scalp biopsy without cleaning the area first, putting on some anaesthetic gel, and freaking explain what you are doing to the patient! Blood instantly began running down my scalp...I pressed my fingers to it and they were covered in red, which the doctor

The worst health office ever! You can’t talk to a human if your life depended on it. It’s shameful that if you have an issue and turn to his office for help, you won’t get it. My health matters not to mention hit services were paid for. Since the pandemic I have spent more time in Cold Spring from NYC and I needed a DR. I chose this office big mistake.

I have been waiting for several months to post this review of Dr Austin's Office. I wanted to wait after my accutane session was complete in fear of not being treated right under their care. So here it is. I was struggling with acne so went to Dr Austin's for the accutane regimen. Upon making the appointment I requested to see Dr Austin. They told me that I would have to see Dr Ree, that she was the expert for accutane. So I did. She gave me the script and some paperwork and fine. So after the first month I went ahead and attempted to make an appointment with Dr Ree for my 3 month follow

I brought my niece to see Dr. Rhee in Dr. Austin's office. We both really liked her, but today I was told she is no longer there. The first time we went to the office, not only was there a verrrry long wait, but the office seemed totally confused because they were starting a new online system of signing in on tablets. I thought that was the reason that a) the RXs for my niece, who was having a bad rash, were not called in. And b) As it was a holiday weekend, I couldn't get ahold of the doc office to sort it out for days--so zero help for the rash. For me: Dr Rhee gave me 2 RXs. One of

Just started seeing Dr. Austin for acne concerns. Began getting facials with Maria and Lyuba at the office in New York City. I've been suffering from acne for a few years. Between Dr. Austin and the aestheticians, my acne outbreaks are under control. I have been taking a combination of prescriptions, the proper in home regimen, and facials my bacne and acne has def improved. My skin is much clearer, and the bumps are gone (usually)

I went to see Dr. Austin for a few sun spots on my face and couldn't be happier with the treatment and results I received.
Dr. Austin took the time to listen to me and understand he history of the growing pigmentation on my face - something that other dermatologists never seem to do.
I was put at ease that no matter what results came back from the biopsy that my condition would be managed. Thankfully it turned out to be wholly cosmetic. On my follow up Dr. Austin performed a simple procedure and by the end of the week the problem had peeled off and was gone.

I am still shaking from the rude treatment I received on the phone. I have never written a bad review until this moment. I have been a patient there and I was unsatisfied with the total experience. I felt rushed during visit and I do not feel the Dr. was thorough. (I saw a Dr. Who left the practice). My 19 year old son has been seeing Caroline and the experience has been very stressful for him. He is being treated with the serious drug Accutane and he has been monitored monthly for 5 months. TIME SPENT ,SUPPORT and SENSITIVITY TOWARDS THE PATIENT IN THAT MEDICAL PRACTICE IS NONEXISTENT. Please

It is rare that I leave a negative review, in this case... I am not sure if I will be able to put into words my experience with this office (okay, I will be able to). I was referred by my physician as a rush appointment. I have been getting these weird bumps that keep popping up. It started with one and now there are so many, I cannot count. Each day more pop up. My physician nor my PA had any idea what they were, neither had never seen anything like, hence why the referral to Carolyn Laorno.
I go in, I explain to her how on July 8th the first one appeared, and I knew this because I was in

You will get the bum's rush here.
If you come expecting to be treated like a patient seeking medical attention, just know that the folks here are more interested in running a lucrative cosmetic clinic.
Ms. Laorno always behaves as though she has a train to catch. Where's the fire?
That said, they provide good services. I just don't like the assembly line standard of care.
