As midwives we believe that pregnancy and birth are normal life processes and strive to support families in their journey to parenthood - whether for the first time or the tenth. We believe that natural birth is something that most are completely capable of, if they are supported and empowered to do so.
We have two beautiful birth centers where you can birth your baby, or we will come to you so that you can have your baby in your home. We have options for water births at the birth centers or at your home. We want you to choose where you are most comfortable, and are happy to help you decide what is best for you and your family.

Services
What we do is about far more than birth. We have parent groups twice a week (one in each location), a nutritionist who offers classes and consultations to our clients, a masseuse who offers very reasonably priced pregnancy massage at our center (or your home), and we host special events and birth classes for the community on a regular basis.
As midwives we are trained to provide personal primary healthcare to you from your first period to menopause and beyond, including prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, gynecological exams, newborn care, assistance with family planning decisions, preconception care, menopausal management, and counseling in health maintenance and disease prevention.
Midwives believe you need time and special attention so you can be healthy and able to take care of your baby. Midwives specialize in providing support, regular health care, and in helping you get any additional care needed. Midwives are experts in knowing the difference between normal changes that occur during pregnancy and symptoms that require extra attention.
Your home may be the perfect place for you to have your baby. There are a wide variety of reasons that people choose home birth. You might choose this if you prefer not to leave home when you are in labor. It may be more convenient if you have small children (the opposite may also be true). You may feel a greater degree of safety and privacy at home as well.
