La Veta Yoga
La Veta Yoga Studio is set in the foothills of the Front Range, surrounded by spectacular mountains and natural beauty. We have classes suitable for all levels of yoga experience and offer a weekly community class by donation. Ruth has an RYT 500 hour Teaching Certificate with extra training in Mindfulness Meditation from Spirit Rock and LifeForce Yoga to Manage your Mood.

She has been teaching since 2008. She has been teaching at the Studio since 2012 and manages the day to day running of the facility. Her classes aim to connect mind and body and increase self awareness through the use of a slow mindful flow from pose to pose. They are suitable for all levels. She offers meditation once a week before her class and would like to make meditation and it's benefits more accessible to others.
Services
We are currently offering small classes in the Studio. Bring your own mat and props. Please note that you must have been fully vaccinated or in the local area for the past 14 days to attend classes. This is a slow mindful Hatha flow class that concentrates on going within, uniting mind and body, while developing focus and presence.
Come join us for a refreshing extended practice of Dynamic Alignment Prajna Yoga. In this class, you will experience light-hearted and dynamic inspiration to a greater compassion for the Self, while cultivating a strong mental and physical practice. We will begin the class with the infusion of SATYA/somatics, then revving up into a dynamic alignment flow and finish with restorative postures.

An awesome studio with wonderful props and mats for such a small town. Great instructors and good for all levels of practice. Drop in rates and very reasonable monthly rates too.

La Veta Yoga started in 2009. Today the studio offers a variety of different classes with different instructors, something for everyone. There are also workshops offered occasionally on the weekends and more often in the summer months.
