G'Day and Thank you for choosing Walkabout Camp & RV Park as your destination stop over. Our park was originally established in 1994 under the name King George RV Resort. Since 2011, the park has been under new management. It is a family owned business that is continuously growing and improving its accommodations to meet the needs of our wonderful campers.
We enjoy entertaining our campers at all ages with a playground, Basketball court, Pickleball Court, Pool, Walking Trails and even a Petting Zoo. Perfect for Snowbirds, Families and anyone just passing through. For those passing through though, you will definitely want to stay again or even extend your stay.

Services
Family owned and operated by an Aussie Family. We moved to the United States from Australia in 2006 with the dream of one day owning a family run business that allows us to be home with our kids, teaching them daily and loving the great outdoors. Our goals for our adventure are to provide an atmosphere where one days just not enough.
This is our second time staying here. While we used it as an overnight stop heading home to Florida, we are planning to return for a week. Facilities are new, clean and staff/owners are super nice and helpful. Easy access, wide roads, lots of big rigs in here. New, clean swimming pool, playground. Added bonus they have goats and chickens.

I give Walkabout 4 stars based on the following.
Easy access from I95.
Cleanliness of grounds and restroom.
Laundry room w/front loading machines.
Utilities worked as they should.
Good water pressure.
Pool, we did not use.
We have stay here before and will stay again.
We spent this night on site K3, 30Amp, pull through while traveling to Florida. As the pictures show, it was tight. Not made for units with slide-outs. Site is level with grass and packed dirt, concrete pad for picnic table. There are other sites that have more room with 50A and are also grass.

Class A 40', recently spent 5 days in the park on a trip back to Florida. It is conveniently located off I-95, exit 7. The park is clean, well maintained and the hosts very attentive. Although we did not participate in Halloween night festivities, there were planned events for the park children. Bathrooms and laundry areas were clean. There's a small petting zoo, active playground and hiking trails. Ample shopping, food, etc... can be found south, off of Exit 3 (fast food, Wal-Mart, grocery stores, etc...). This is the second time we have stayed at Walkabout Camp & RV ... and we will be back. Enjoy

Well kept campground. We got a spot across from the playground so I could set out side my camper and watch them n get a little bit of work done. The playground is different then the average playground.. which we liked. It is also in the shade.. Had a nice concrete pad. Sites are very long and a decent amount wide. People were nice here. My kids loved visiting the animals. The pig can be mean n snappy though. The pool is clean. It has a liner in it so it's not rough like some other places. Which is super nice.

The bathroom, showers, and laundry facilities deserve five stars. The barnyard has goats that thankfully aren’t loud in the morning. A nice pool and plenty of trees surround this RV park. Hookups are easy to attach. But spacing is tight. My driver slideout extends to the utility box. The awning, when fully extended, covers the neighbors utility box by more than a foot. We are packed in tight.
There are limited passport advantage sites and due to a recent tropical storm, no sites were available for that discount. It could also explain why every site appears taken as a tornado hit a nearby RV

Lovely management team here at walkabout. Super clean and large bathrooms and coin laundry avaliable! The small animal farm was such a fun time. We played and pet the baby goats for a bit and loved seeing chicken walk around the camp ground. The grounds themselves can be just a bit crowded but it's a great stay for community or a comfy spot for a quick overnighter.

This was the most amazing campground! All the farm animals were so friendly & the staff was so hospitable! We enjoyed all the people & the nightly campfire was the best! We made lifetime friendships & were so sad to leave. We will get back again. Very clean facility! The playground was even inviting for us big kids & the dogs ran laps in the dog park.

After going to this RV park for the past five years we were approached by the female manager and another gentleman yesterday at 11:17 AM saying that it was past check out time and that we had to leave. We were clearly in the process of packing up and loading up the Jeep. Over the years, we have become friendly with the owner, Troy, who is almost always friendly and cordial. The only time he wasn't, was a few years back when I expressed frustration that it had then been the the second time that we reserved our spot with a previous manager on the phone and lost our reservation so didn&apos
