All of our providers are Board Certified and are members of the American Academy of Pediatrics or National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). Comprehensive Childcare Associates has always put myself and my families needs first. When I was little Dr Featherman was my doctor and have nothing but the best memories of my visits. I always was so excited to go to the doctors visits with my mom. So now fast forward 30 years and I originally stuck with Featherman for my son Grayson and still… after so many years he was very knowledgeable, caring, and welcoming as I remembered. However the drive to Sarasota was a lot but found out the North Port, FL location was opening and I was ecstatic! That’s when my second baby was born, Kinsley

We have been looking for a new doctor for a while now that would be a perfect fit for us and I am so glad to say we finally found one. Dr. Fernandez provided us with much needed information while also making it… a fun visit for my 6 year old son. There was no judgment towards me when I asked questions about his health and advise on certain things. He also didn’t ignore my son when he asked what certain things were and addressed him the entire time. We have been going to Comprehensive Childcare Associates for almost 9 years. We have always had a great experience with Dr. Featherman. I called first thing on a Saturday morning to get a last minute appointment. Lisa was the friendly voice that greeted me and was able to get us in to see Dr. Minella. She was very patient and explained everything in great detail. I was very impressed with the exceptional treatment we received today.

We take our children to see Dr. Fernandez and Dr. Carrol at the North Port location. They are outstanding! We are able to make same day appointments and the wait time in the exam room is never more than 10 minutes to see the doctor. They are great with the kids and have wonderful bedside manners. Their office staff is also very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Comprehensive Childcare.

Comprehensive Childcare Associates has been in Sarasota for many years, but they just opened a new location in North Port.😀 I highly recommend these doctors! I have been taking my girls there for almost 18 years now and I am still impressed with how well they do things at this office. Super friendly, efficient, and extremely caring! Everyone here, from the front office staff to the doctors, are top notch. I walked in with a sick 4 y/o and they took me right away, with no appt. Dr. Minella was the treating physician and she couldn’t have been more caring, professional and concerned. She took her time to speak to me and didn’t feel rushed at all, even though we had no appointment. She even called twice that night to checkup on my daughter, which is rare this day and age. We also see Dr. Carroll, who is also absolutely one of the best and has been treating my daughter since birth. This team really cares for your child like

My children have been patients here since they were born. Even though we moved further south we still continue to use Dr. Carroll as their pediatrician because he's just wonderful, low stress and really gets children. I have one outgoing child and one super nervous child and both enjoy visiting Dr. Carroll. I have never had any issues with billing and the front desk have always been super helpful with any insurance related questions I have had.

This office is truly amazing! All of the doctors are very talented, caring and genuinely concerned about your child. Even though they have a very successful and busy practice you feel as if you are the only family in the office; you have the nurses and doctors undivided attention! The nurses and administrative team are warm, caring and professional. I highly recommend this office to family and friends. The walk in hours in the morning are such a convenience and relief when you are concerned about your sick child; they even have Saturday appointments! I can't say enough positive things about this

We have been at this office since my daughter was born almost 4 years ago. We have had no issues here. The staff treats us like family and love my kids like their own. They always get us in for sick appointments and always seem to actually care. They answer all my questions. I couldn't be happier here. My kids see all four doctors and love them all. I would of give them 0 star if they allow , your going to tell me because I called 2 days later and didn't mention it's a follow up visit that your allowed to charge me another $76. , scam ! You didn't do nothing on his first visit , no test no blood work , not even testing his booger for RSV , telling me come back 2 days later if his fever don't come down to charge us another office visit . My son has been going to this doctors office since he was born. He just turned two years old and got switched with his insurance. He already had an appointment with them, the. Two days before the appointment they called and told me their panel is full! They wouldn't even explain to me what it meant. I told them he had been a patient there for two years and they just said it doesn't matter. Then hung up! I definitely don't recommend this place!!!!

We have been coming to comprehensive childcare associates for the past five years with no regrets! I have seen two different pediatricians in town prior to my 2 sons becoming patients at this practice. There is no comparison! We typically see Dr. Murphy and Dr. Carroll. However, we have on occasion seen all four of the pediatricians in this practice. Everyone of them has a great bedside manner. They are very attentive and involve the parents in healthcare decisions. They are all very experienced pediatricians and I have never lost confidence of in the past five years.

I like the doctors but the billing and front staff are really not helpful. There isn't ONE time when I go there with my sick child that I do not have to deal with some billing issue. Come on and get a good biller already who solves your billing issues. Also: "you must show your insurance card every time you come" and they won't see your sick child if your insurance hasn't paid for something, even if it's a billing problem. One time I had to wait for two hours for my child to be seen because there was an insurance problem that they created and I had to get on the

THEY CARE MORE ABOUT MONEY THAN YOUR CHILDREN. I paid an $8.00 charge 1 day late and they charged me a $7.00 late fee!! They refuse to credit the account even when I told them I would change pediatricians, that they would lose 2 patients!! DeeDee, the office manager, told me she didn't care. Also, they continually hold a credit balance on your account without telling you. When I asked for an accounting of my previous bills, DeeDee told me it would cost $15.00 for a financial statement. So it is ok for them to hold your money without telling you, but it is not ok for you to be 1 day late with

My son, as well as myself, we're patients of Dr. Feathermen, he is a great doctor and always treated my son and I will a great deal of care and respect. Unfortunately the greatness of this doctor is tarnished by a staff member named Lisa who deals with the insurance side of the business. Lisa is rude, crass, and makes her blatant disregard for you as not only a patient but also a person very apparent.
