At the time they sold new Moto Guzzi motorcycles and used bikes in their downtown site. Soon, they added Velorex sidecars, Jawa mopeds and CZ and MZ motorcycles. The current building was built in 1995. In 1997 sales of new Suzuki motorcycles and ATVs were added to the mix. Doug says, It was a big change in our lives.
We have always been a small shop with the basic four of us here from the start. When we started the shop, Nancy retired from teaching and I kept going, working both jobs until 2007 when I too retired from teaching. In 2018 we decided to spin off the NEW unit sales and concentrate in quality used and vintage machines.

THE MOTOCYCLE SHOP is proud to provide European designed and crafted Velorex Sidecars for sale in the USA. Where as some of our customers choose to mount and install their new Velorex sidecar themselves using the provide universal mounting kit. The vast majority of our customers choose the security and convenience our custom installation services.

Awesome service and very knowledgeable staff! Smaller shop so you get a much more personal experience compared to the bigger dealerships. They care about you and the quality of your ride, not just the sale. I've been riding motorcycle for 20 years and I would give them an extremely high recommendation.

I won't take my Suzuki Intruder anywhere else. I trust them and know they give me quality care and service at the best price. No up-selling, no delays, no excuses.....just exactly what I need. They even make it easy for me to schedule an appointment and schedule a drop off/pick up time because I'm 45 miles away.

Just good people is how I would summarize my experience at the Motocycle Shop. I purchased a California Vintage from them about 3 years ago and they have done a great job at improving my bike with aftermarket upgrades. Their attention to detail has turned a great bike into the perfect bike. No games here, they want your business and are willing to earn it.
