At Eco Three, we are energy efficiency and insulation experts who make homes more energy efficient and safer. Therefore, our clients enjoy greater comfort, lower utility bills, and a reduced impact on the environment. We do home energy audits and implement energy efficient upgrades (aka retrofits focused on insulation, air sealing, and sealing duct work) aimed at a payback of five years.
Many clients wonder how we know what areas require the greatest focus when we recommend energy efficient upgrades, and part of what we do is to explain how a home or building functions as a system. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, typical homes use about 50% of total energy for heating and cooling; therefore, our primary focus is on HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems and the building envelope.
An energy audit is the evaluation of one's home to determine how much energy is being used and how that energy can be better conserved. Energy audits are intended to identify the weak spots in the structure and functionality of your home with regard to energy output. We recently completed a whole home renovation to our house built in 1962. The house badly needed new insulation. After meeting with David and doing my own research, we decided to seal all the penetrations along with adding insulation. David and his team were very professional. David explained everything very thoroughly and came back to inspect the work and make sure we were happy. David even called our attention to a plumbing leak while inspecting our crawl space. It was not his scope of work but he called this to our attention and we were so thankful that he did. We have not been using the air

Exceptional service. (If you can have Daniel on your crew, he's the most respectful guy you'll ever meet!) They arrived early and where mindful of where they parked, respectful of my son and me working from home, left the area cleaner than when they arrived. It's one thing to feel like you're getting a great product at a great price, but then to have a crew go above and beyond with so much courtesy and respect for your home and you means a lot.

Jonathan, Jason, and the whole crew did a terrific job with our insulation project. Very professional, very friendly, and very reasonable with pricing. We had them remove the original degraded rock wool insulation from a house we bought last year (the house was built in 1960) and blow in new insulation. They did a great job air-sealing the attic, too, very efficient and quality work overall. We're already feeling the effects. Last summer it was 78-80 degrees upstairs even with the AC running, and now we're holding at 70-72 degrees. You won't regret using these guys. A really great value, and super

Eco Three is the best upgrade I have made to my house. My second story was totally unsealed, this resulted in uncomfortable temperatures and high levels of humidity. Since air sealing and the addition of extra insulation, my second story is livable for the first time since I purchased the house. Jonathan is great and crew that performed the work are fantastic. They arrived at 7:30 a.m. and worked until after 6:00 p.m. They were courteous, considerate and they cleaned up thoroughly when they finished. I highly recommend Eco Three.
