The New Mexico Estate Planning Council was founded by a group of leading attorneys, accountants, trust officers, and Certified Financial Planners for the purpose of exploring and refining the relationship among their professions in the field of estate planning. The NMEPC promotes the interests of the public by providing an educational forum to the estate planning professionals of New Mexico.

The NMEPC is a a local affiliate of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC), a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated estate planning councils, focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards. Membership offers many benefits including, monthly meetings and inclusion in our membership directory.
Services
The council members meet monthly from September through April on the third Thursday of the month to discuss their views and refine their talents. A monthly speaker provides insight into current issues. Vickie Wilcox, Wilcox & Myers, PC, will discuss the Elizabeth Whitefield End-of-Life Options Act.
