Wow, I just happened to be looking up a phone number on Google and ran across the reviews for Coral Plaza. I would like to respond to the negative review posted five months ago. I have provided professional services at Coral Plaza on and off for the past nine years and will say I have never seen or otherwise observed any of the "issues" described or otherwise felt that any abuse, neglect or disrespect was shown to any resident. STAY AWAY!!!! DANGEROUS FACILITY!! My mother lived there for about a month. She received a BLACK EYE there before 3:00 PM according to 2 of the aides. When I arrived there about 7:30 PM, she still received no medical attention & they didn't even call me - completely IGNORED it. I called the police & took her to the hospital. They said she could have had internal bleeding. Also, that she did not fall since there were no bruises on any other part of her body - that it looked like someone had punched her (a 91 year old woman with Alzheimers) in the eye. My father has lived at Livewell at Coral Plaza for 5 years and has received excellent care. I know of the situation posted by Ms. Weintraub and actually was present for one of her episodes terrorizing the staff at Coral Plaza. This actually happened almost a year ago not two weeks ago and she was asked to leave Coral Plaza. This lady also hid and slept in the closet at one of the assisted living facilities her mother previously stayed at and jumped out of the closet at staff. Her mother has been in multiple assisted living facilities and she has called Adult Protective Services on 3 facilities

From the minute I got in i felt the great energy. My father had some problems adjusting but within few weeks he adjusted and was happy. There 3 activity people who always make sure something happens. They have a van that takes the Residents to shopping and outside events. The management and staff is superb. This is a home not only to my father but to the rest of our family. Thank you

I'm not surprised I'm the first to review, because, how many of the seniors living there yelp on their laptops? Haven't seen any. My mom is living at Coral Plaza about 4 months now. She really is happy there and I'm quite happy too. The food's quite good, and it doesn't smell bad like some other senior residences I've been to. The Staff takes care of the residents and different levels of assistance are given depending on need. Doctors come in and residents can see them or the facility can drive the resident to the doctor appointment if it's not too
