The end of endless therapy. I believe in giving you the tools to recover from your childhood trauma, re-parent yourself, repair your life and have the freedom to be all you were meant to be. Though I miss my clients once they graduate, I understand that the greatest compliment of any therapist's work is when clients bloom and thrive in the "real world"; not just within the protective walls of a psychotherapists' office.
Check these videos of Dr. Arlene Drake telling it like it is and letting people know there is an End to Endless Therapy. Sexaual abuse, trauma abuse, PTSD, is Dr. Drake's specialty. Located in Encino, California, Dr. Drake accepts patients into her practice. Helping people heal abuse is her goal. A look into a joyful graduation ceremony-I believe that just because you suffered trauma or abuse does NOT mean a life sentence of therapy.
This book is an insightful guide to breaking free from the effects of childhood abuse in order to reclaim your life. When confronted with an abused child, our first impulse is to drop everything and provide comfort, get him or her out of danger, and find out what the hell is going on at home. It's obvious that the child is helpless, in trouble, and needs protection.

I was 53 years old and 21 years sober when I met Arlene Drake. After many years of therapy, I still found myself battling bouts of depression, suicide ideation, unable to maintain financial stability, and puzzled as to why I couldn't shake these monsters in my head. I had been in individual therapy for childhood trauma for 4 years and thought I had healed and yet, I was still suffering from an inability to feel peace, to feel authentic. I kept feeling I didn't know who I was. Working with Arlene Drake allowed me to find myself and detach from the trauma of my childhood.

By Chance? Two different very good friends of mine, who did not know each other, handed me a piece of paper with Dr Drakes phone number suggesting I call after I shared childhood trauma that was coming up for me. when I noticed that both numbers were to her, I called.
The group experience that Arlene facilitated practically wiped away the guilt, shame, self loathing and often misery I had been living with my whole life as a result of my childhood.
My group consisted of highly functioning, successful adults mostly in recovery prior to joining group. The support that Arlene created in that environment
