Jane recently was awarded The Gold Award by Starkey Hearing Technologies for contributions to the Starkey Hearing Alliance. Jane and the Ottawa Hearing Aid Center were recognized by the leadership and industry colleagues for their achievements at the 2016 Starkey Hearing Alliance Better Hearing Summit in Eden Prairie, Minnesota this Spring.
The Better Hearing Summit is one of a number of trainings the Ottawa Hearing Aid Center team attend to continue to grow in the hearing healthcare profession. The Ottawa and Delphos Hearing Aid Centers have been serving the hearing needs of our area since 1988 and 2010, respectively. We are Full Service centers, providing hearing tests, evaluations, hearing instrument fittings, repair service, batteries, and assistant listening devices.

We recognize our responsibility to the community to advocate, develop and implement quality, comprehensive and cost-effective hearing service which educates, informs and benefits our patients.
Repair work and fitting alterations are part of our lab work in the Ottawa Office. This equipment is used for maintenance of hearing aids and alterations in the fitting process. The first step is a hearing test performed in our sound booth which cancels all ambient and environmental noises. This allows us to isolate exactly what frequencies and their thresholds are causing the hearing loss.
