Located at the crux of Interstate 80 and Highway 34 in Lincoln, Nebraska, Camp A Way is the best-loved, year-round campground in the area. For over 50 years, Camp A Way has been the leader in providing the best guest experiences and amenities. We stayed one night, easy to find the Campground. Staff was friendly & the park was clean and appealing to the eye.
Bathrooms & shower were clean. FYI we are full-time RVer's and could not think of one negative remark to say ( 1st time staying here.)

Traveling through on our way west in December. The campground was clean and easily manageable.
They allowed us to check in late and the site was easy to find. This campground is close to I80 and offered overnight stay with full hookups in the middle of the winter.
We paid 63.00 a night considering the fact that a hotel in a major metropolitan(college town) area would have cost anywhere between 175.00-250.00 we were very happy with the pricing.
Thank you for being open and taking our call Anita and John.

This is a great campground especially if you have children and pets. We stayed here during the off season and the employees were really friendly and helpful. They also spend a lot of time maintaining the grounds. They are very well set up for full hook ups in the winter and really one of the only campgrounds in Nebraska open during the off season (winter).
Their dog park is very big and also has a seperate section for small dogs so they won’t feel overwhelmed by the large dogs. They have dog cleanup stations they ought the grounds to help keep dog waste from just being left by owners.

We stayed 4 nights at Camp A Way. The campground looks a lot like a KOA. They have activities for kids that weren’t really open midweek. The campground is laid out a little strange and took a day or two to remember how to get to our spot after being out. All utilities worked fine. Cable was analog and not really worth using. The internet was hit and miss with emphasis on miss. If your looking for a local campground to get away for a weekend this place is probably pretty nice. We are full timers and thought the park was WAY overpriced for what you get. With all of the taxes we paid right at $62

Very nice campground. Bathrooms were very clean. Office staff was very friendly. Lots of fun stuff for kids to do. Has a seasonal pool. Has lots of fun games by office. Big chess board on the ground, checkers, domino's, ping pong table, and big connect 4. Close to freeway but wasn't loud at night. Has water slide that is seasonal. Also has a dog area. Has an indoor jacuzzi that the temp was like bath water but nice.

We stayed here one night as we were passing through town, but what a nice place! Plenty of activities by the office for the kids to get their wiggles out. We ordered pizza from the office and they cooked it and delivered it to our RV. Campground is clean and staff was friendly! Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here during October 2020 and had a great experience. Such a cute spot. I can imagine kids loving this spot.
The location was close everything and still felt connected to nature va the awful
Parking lot RV parks with no trees or character.
Our spot was near the campsites. The bathrooms aren’t fancy but they were clean.

This was our first stop on our way back to CA from WI. It is the 6th campground on our 3 week journey and by far the best experience. The price with Good Sam was $58.50/night plus $10 to pop up a tent on site. I'm traveling with my 83 year old mother and twin 11 year old boys so this was the perfect fit.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the ladies heard me asking about distance to the restroom for my elderly mother. When she saw me at the water slide with my boys she asked if she could give my mom a ride in the golf cart. They will do their best to accommodate any request

I booked the cabin about 2wks ago. Yesterday we found out our son has Covid, so I called to cancel. It's 2 days before our trip, so thought I'd maybe have a small fee. They kept the entire amount!
We are living in a horrible pandemic, and this heartless business can't be flexible? They did not care - at all.
I will never stay here... Ever! I would think if they care so little of others - the facilities are probably not cared for too.

We loved this campground. Easy access from the Interstate and it is beautiful. It has a great dog run with two separate runs one for bigger fogs and one for little dogs. Lots for kids to do although I don't have any young children traveling with me. Very lush and green and just lovely. Nice quiet park.

We stayed there in June for a week . I always thought of campaway as a five star campground however on this trip I requested a certain site was told they would do their best. Upon arrival I was given a different site while the site I requested Sat empty for 3 days while I was there, site was empty when I arrived. I will not waste money on the ultra patio sites anymore I'll just book a regular site and hopefully can get back to 5 star rating again.

This place is a little pricey; however, the place is fantastic with all the mature trees. They have sites with patios and furniture, which are awesome. Not every site has a fire ring, but, not everyone likes waking up and smelling like a summer sausage either. To each his own! Now this is a must stay for families with children. Plenty for kids to do. Now if you don't like kids, and think they're just a bunch of sniveling germ bags, I would avoid this place like a pirate full of scurvy!

This RV park is wonderful! I travel the country for work and have stayed in park at every location, this park is in my top 3!!! It's so clean, beautiful setting, the site are full serve, many amenities, the staff (all) of them are friendly, helpful and downright great. I love this place and highly recommend it. If you have children you definitely can't go wrong, pets too! Water games, pool, jacuzzi, bike rentals, arcade, pet run, clean, safe, even soft serve ice cream, slushes, etc. like I said excellent!!! Sites have tables, fire pits, some come with swings. Worth the stay and the price

I drove there last week to look around. I found two "Ultra" sites (of 4) (D7 and D8) and asked about them at the office.
I went to the office and asked about them for three nights, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. I was told those two were reserved.
I asked about the third (C16) and was told it was available. I prepaid over $150 and was given a map with the site circled and the restroom code written in.
I arrived Tuesday in the rain, so I drove to the site and got hooked up, disconnected from my truck and settled in. I would go to the office later, as I had prepaid.

Very pleased with our stay! Beautiful grounds, super polite staff, spacious sites, free wifi and fun things for kids. Great convenient location if heading through the Lincoln area. The pool was great and clean, same with camp store. The only negatives would be the highway noise and we were worried about a couple limbs on a tree that were partially broken and overhung our site.
Many sites were conveniently pull-through. We would absolutely stay there again and have already recommended it to our road-tripping family.
