Everyone's a little different when it comes to understanding the need for proper estate planning. Others understand the importance, but thinking about it makes them uncomfortable, causing them to contemplate on their own mortality. Perhaps even you may have created a plan in the past, yet are unsure if the plan will actually work when you or your family need it the most.
Proper estate planning isn't just about preparing a set of documents - it's about providing personalized asset protection solutions for individuals and families, as well as their loved ones. Nevertheless, many "professionals" and "trust mills" only briefly (or never) meet with their clients and churn out boilerplate documents with limited provisions and a "one-size-fits-all" approach.
People are often confused with what happens after a person who creates a trust passes away. Similarly, those who are named as successor trustees often wonder "what do I need to do now" and "where can I find help"? Becoming a successor trustee involves a major time commitment and there are many legal duties of a trustee that may subject the trustee to personal liability if requirements of the trust are not carried out in a proper manner.
In California, if your assets are valued at $150,000 or more and they are not directed to beneficiaries through either a trust plan, beneficiary designation, or a surviving spouse, those assets are required to go through the probate process upon your incapacity or death.
That is why those who have assets above this threshold and have a will - or no will at all (intestate) - are guaranteed that a court will step in to oversee the transfer of their property via probate. You may have heard many sad or horrific stories from family and friends about probate court. This is not a surprise, especially when you consider the probate process in California is one of the most expensive and inefficient in the United States.

Under certain circumstances after a trust has been created, it may be necessary for the probate court to be involved in a number of issues that may arise in relation to that trust. Similarly, circumstances may arise in the administration of an estate where litigation is required to resolve disputes involving a will.

Aanestad law is a crooked law firm. They drew up binding documents that would allow them to fire our trusted trustees and bring in their fiduciary friends. Erick Aanestad appoints himself the trust protector granting himself all power over you and your money. This man and his firm are crooks. Don't be fooled by this guy if you have any money he will put you in a state home and take all your money. I think he would resort to murder
He even has a clause to liquidate our holdings if me or my husband disappeared. He includes a whole lot of gift giving with our money. He splits our assets so that

I just worked with Tiffani on a real estate probate transaction this last fall. It was my first probate sale, it was a fabulous and easy transaction. She walked me thru every step and was very responsive to my questions. I would recommend her to anyone I know who needs an attorney! I will be using her to do a family trust soon too. Don't hesitate to give them a call!

I have been trying to reach them for 2 months. I have emailed and left phone messages. They wil not call me back. I did talk to a person 2 times. They were supposed to call me back and mail copies of my mother's signed papers. It did not happen. My mother got on the phone and asked them to send copies to me. My mother does not know what she signed at his office and wanted me to see and explain to her. She said she was never given any papers when she went to his office. She is 92. Why do they not have a person answering the phone. Why am I ignored and why would papers be signed

Eric Aanestad is a crooked Lawyer. He will not do what you ask and when you try to correct it he is unavailable. We asked for a simple Joint Revocable TrustInstead he put together a grantor trust. In our situation he appoints himself the Trust protector. He gives himself broad powers as if everything you have is now his. We never authorized a trust protector. He reserves the right to replace your trusted trustee's. Upon my husbands death I would've be beholden to our trustee for any of my expenses. He reserves the right to deny any beneficiary their inheritance. He reserves the right to spend down
