The Business Services Cooperative (BSC) began as a creative way to offer bookkeeping support to a worker cooperative by a former worker-owner. Today we serve resident-owned communities, cooperatives of all shapes and sizes, small businesses, and non-profits working for the benefit of a shared and community owned economy.
At BSC we use reliable and current cloud based accounting software, paired with our experience to manage your financial information. Initially we (CHC) started working with Business Services Cooperative in early 2018, seeking assistance in setting up our start-up's accounting systems for the future. We had very little experience with the CFA side of business operations, and sought monthly services to help us set up our billing, payroll, filing and reconciliation systems and schedules for success during operations.
