I stayed here back in 2016 a couple times and now back in 2022. I love this place. You park your car and walk in your room. That’s what’s so great about it. The staff/owner is a super nice guy. and the rooms are always nice and clean. If you’re in the area, stop in and spend the night at Motel 70. You won’t regret it…

Nice tidy room! Excellent customer service. The front desk attendant is very friendly and extremely helpful. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. Although this motel is close to the interstate, it is quiet enough inside that I had a great night sleep. I highly recommend this place, the price is very affordable. I would absolutely stay here again!

We’ve stayed here twice on trips to the East Coast! Reasonable rates, especially with two dogs, and it’s always a clean space. There’s also a nice grass area to walk the dogs. It is dated, but it’s comfortable, every appliance works, and again - the price is more than reasonable. Flatscreen TV, mini fridge, coffee maker, & blow dryer all included. Front desk was also very kind, he has his own sweet dog - should note this place is family owned! Happy to support.

Clean, spacious room. A little dated, but so is my house. Quiet. Wonderful check in experience. Friendly, family owned. I've stayed in places twice the price that weren't as clean. Microwave, fridge, and coffee pot all available, plus a hair dryer and white noise machine. Will be returning on my return trip from out west.

For a $65 motel, you get what you pay for, but not with this one! The man at the front seat was super friendly. He said if there was anything we needed to not hesitate to call him. This was the CLEANEST motel I've ever stayed in! The carpet was spotless, the bathroom even had a paper across the seat to indicate it was cleaned. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked great! Folger's coffee and Lipton tea was in the room. It was well lit. There was a grill and a picnic area in the back. The parking lot had NO trash - not even a cigarette butt! I will definitely stay here again!!

The manager was more than sweet, really nice guy. The rooms were clean and inviting. I was able to have hot tea in the evening and coffee in the morning. The location is so convenient. We honestly weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. After a long road trip we were very appreciative. Will definitely come back if we are in the area! Thank you!!

Great hotel! It is located right off 70 and is well kept. Room was clean and quiet, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and functional, there was a fridge, microwave and tv with 200+ channels. They have snacks and drinks available in the office. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and even brought us extra towels, soap, and complimentary bottled water. We will definitely be back on future road trips!

Wow! Motel 70 on High Hill --Talk about a FANTASTIC choice as a base for visiting Little Germany( Hermann) !!! Harry and his family run this place like it's their own home. SO CLEAN, comfortable and quiet!!! They treat their guests like gold, and my husband and I are SO amazed at the price compared to what this motel offers. We will DEFINITELY be returning in the Fall (Oktoberfest) and certainly recommend!!!

I found this gem on yelp after passing by some sketchy places (aka murder hotels). I decided to give this place a try since its reviews were great. One of the owners checked me in and provided me with instructions on how to get to the room. The rooms seem to have been recently updated and the beds were very comfortable. The amenities resembled that of a nice hotel, than a regular motel. By far, this is the most bang for your buck!

Trust the reviews on this motel! We arrived on a Tuesday evening on our way to LOTO. We were greeted with a smile and given a pet dish, ball and dog treats for our dog. This was an awesome personal touch. The room was clean and very comfortable. The owners are the nicest people. Would definitely recommend!

Echoing what others have said, this is a good motel for the price. My room was under 50 for a queen sized bed (though a room with 2X full's was $7 cheaper). It's a family operation, nice guy at the desk.
The room is clean. Popcorn ceiling, popcorn every surface actually. The bed is cheap but not uncomfortable. There's a flatscreen, fridge and micro. I'm comfortable.
It's rather close to the road. I'm definitely sleeping with earplugs. Also, I'm the only car here tonight. I tend to worry about my car at motels, it's usually crammed with everything I own

This may be the best budget type hotel I've ever stayed at. It's super clean, bed was comfy, TV had every channel and the owner is very cool. Dog friendly! $6 loads of laundry, washed, dried and folded...done for you! There isn't really anything to eat or drink at this exit so plan ahead. Skip the corporate hotels and stay here, you will understand once you do. $60ish for two adults and two dogs.

I own a small moving company, which requires me to do a lot of driving. I target inexpensive (less than $50) hotels/motels when I'm driving. I've stayed at a lot of such places across the county and have figured out where to stay and where not to.
This is the third time I've stayed at the I-70 budget motel. I'm sitting in a room right now that cost me $36 (after taxes). It is spacious, clean, and well appointed. It has a nice table I spent the evening doing work at. The Internet
