By 2009, EAB killed an estimated 58 million ash trees in thirteen states, according to Dr. Leah Bauer of the USDA. Soil can get a ph level below 6 and become acidic or sour. Acid soils are not necessarily infertile but an indication that the supply of calcium and magnesium is low and needs replenishing.
To verticut we use a machine that slices grooves into your ground to expose the soil. Typical depth to verticut is up to a 1/4 inch. We first verticut the lawn one direction then go back over the lawn and verticut again at a 45 to 90 degree angle. So now you have a criss cross affect. Before seeding we will go through the lawn and rake up all the big clumps left behind from the verticutting.

Oasis is the BEST! They have been doing our lawn for 9 years now and would never switch to anyone else. Our lawn is continually looking green without any weeds. As a matter of fact our yard looks so good our neighbors have now gone to using Oasis, for a total of about 7 neighbors. This company comes highly recommended!
