Vigilante Makeup + Hair Artistry is an on-location, and destination makeup and hair team based out of Atlanta, GA. Vigilante Makeup +Hair was founded in 2013 by industry professionals Erica Ages and Corie Messer. The like minded, and makeup + hair obsessed duo had the idea to build a brand that represented beauty at it's most raw and true form.

I just wanted to say thank you to Corie for doing my hair and make up. You seriously made me feel so beautiful and confidant on my wedding day, I couldn’t have asked for more. My make up lasted all day and my hair lasted until the next day haha thanks again girl for making me glow on my special day.

The 1 star is solely for how great our make up was. BUT BEWARE! My sisters wedding day was absolutely ruined by the fact her hair did not hold at all (which this girls hair always holds). It was heartbreaking waiting to walk down the aisle watching my sister sobbing heartbroken over her hair. If you want BEAUTIFUL hair for your wedding Vigilante is NOT it.

The makeup service was acceptable. But all other stars were lost thanks to the apathetic hair team. Each woman in the bridal party needed multiple touch-ups after they left, and some even re-curled their hair 2-3 times. The main issue, however, was the heartbroken bride whose hair looked NOTHING like what was discussed. The stylist was apathetic and lackluster. The customer service after the fact only made it worse. No attempt at an apology or refund.

I had the best experience with Vigilante Cosmetics for our wedding hair & makeup! Erica & Andi were INCREDIBLE! I showed them a couple pictures of what I liked and they did such a good job of translating that to a hair & makeup look. On top of loving what they did, it lasted all day and night! I was shocked at how in-tact everything stayed. Not only are they good at what they do, but they are genuine people who are fun to be around too! Would highly recommend these professionals!

Erica was the PERFECT hair and makeup artist for my November 2020 wedding. Her and Blair were always so quick to respond and gave me all the reassurance I needed during this crazy covid time. From my trial to my wedding day, Erica was professional and personable. She nailed my wedding hair and makeup. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride!

Andi and Jessica are great! I did several hair trials with disappointment, and when I met with Andi she did not disappoint! She listened to exactly what I wanted, and it was better than I could I expect! All of my girls loved their hair and all four artists showed up and had us completed even a little ahead of schedule! Definitely recommend!

We had Corie and Andi for hair & makeup for a wedding on 10/4 and they both did such an amazing job. All of the bridesmaids looked amazing as well as the mother of the bride and the bride herself! Corie took her time on all of the girls and our makeup still looked flawless well into the reception. Andi crushed all of our hair and literally ALL of our curls held the entire time. I was so impressed with both of them and would recommend them to anyone!

My originally booked hair and makeup artist decided never to communicate with me/wedding coordinators again after she got her final payment. Therefore Vigilante was contacted 24 hours before my wedding to step in. They were able to quickly respond and found Courtney and Bobbie to step in. The ladies were absolutely FANTASTIC (fun, sweet, talented) and did a great job on me and my bridal party. They even helped the groom style his hair which looked perfect all night. I've been to several weddings where women are unhappy and sneak off to fix something themselves. None of us had to do that as

Corie & Andi made me feel like an absolute queen on my wedding day. The whole bridal party & my mom looked STUNNING. They were so easy to work with, so much fun to be around, and were ahead of schedule the whole day (which made my day 1000000x less stressful). Most of the ladies who work here are super talented, however, the company is run so poorly that it doesn't matter. Blair and Erica are extremely difficult to work with. I reached out two weeks before my wedding to schedule a trial for my mother in law (as per their instruction), and they were unable to book the trial. My mother in law was extremely upset, and these ladies, generally were very difficult. It's also very difficult to get in touch with them by phone. I often waited days for a reply.

Erica and Kyle were phenomenal! I thoroughly enjoyed both of my trials. Corie did my makeup and Kyle did my hair. They captured my vision perfectly and made it even better and more suited for my skin and hair than the pictures I showed them were. Corie even mixed two lip colors together to capture the color palette I was going for and it was perfect and unique! They were both wonderful to work with on the day of the wedding - calm and collected and all of my bridal party who used their services absolutely loved them. I would definitely recommend them and be happy to use them again myself!
