Services
As a Participating Provider with Pennsylvania's Office of Refugee Resettlement, Squirrel Hill Health Center completes the initial health screening for a large majority of newly arriving refugees in Pittsburgh. We also provide ongoing, integrated care for all of our patients, including those who came to us as newly arriving refugees, refugees who move to Pittsburgh from elsewhere, and a wide and diverse immigrant population.
The Squirrel Hill Health Center staff includes a psychiatrist and several licensed clinical social workers. The Behavioral Health team offers a full range of mental health services that are available to Squirrel Hill Health Center patients by appointment. The Behavioral Health direct line is 1-412-697-7999.
Squirrel Hill Health Center's care navigator and AmeriCorps members provide a full range of assistance for all Squirrel Hill Health Center patients, ensuring that they are connected to specialty care, tests and any support services that they may need to remain as healthy as possible. Any Squirrel Hill Health Center patient may take advantage of this service, regardless of insurance status.
Squirrel Hill Health Center offers Enrollment Counselors and Certified Application Counselors to assist you in the new Pennsylvania Health Insurance Marketplace, Pennie. This is a no cost service and you do not have to be a patient at our facility to get a one-on-one appointment with our Certified Application Counselors.
Our Brentwood Towne Square location has been open since 2016. This location allows us to provide the same high quality preventive care to our patients located in the South Hills. Services include Medical, OB/GYN, and Behavioral Health, all provided by the same smiling faces you recognize from our main office in Squirrel Hill.
