Lisa's School of Dance opened in 1982 when Lisa Testa purchased the studio at the age of 17. She ran the studio while attending college at Kent State University as a Dance and Recreational Education major. The Studio originated just down the road from where we operate from today. It began with only one teacher (Lisa), one dance studio, and a very small office.
Today, the studio has grown to 12+ teachers, four dance studios, and an extensive office staff. Lisa and her teaching staff have choreographed several award-winning routines which have been taken to regional and national competitions in Ohio and surrounding states and several of our teachers are certified Acrobatic Arts instructors.

Services
Tuition is a yearly fee to be paid in 9 monthly installments starting in September and ending in May. Each class is guaranteed to meet a minimum of 34 times during the school year. Should you choose to withdraw from a class after the 7th, you are still responsible for that month's tuition. There are no cash refunds.
Our Tiny Stars program is perfect for keeping your little one busy and active while fostering social-emotional, gross motor, and cognitive development. Our Tiny Star Preschool program is taught by instructors with years of experience working with toddlers and preschool age children.

Our Shining Stars 13+ program is perfect for advancing your dancer's skills to the next level. Our Shining Star program is taught by certified instructors who challenge and engage our dancers. This program aims to strengthen dance technique and knowledge while encouraging dancers to take care of both their bodies and their mental health.
