For more than 20 years David Ward, has been making Stick Art, Wall Sculptures, and Organic Lighting. Calling himself a "Stick Artist" he has worked with many nationally known interior designers and architects on hospitality and high-end residential projects. Michael Taylor Designs, Solage Resort, St Regis, Ritz Carlton, and Auberge du Soleil are some of his clients.

I have always enjoyed the artistic relationship to clients and designers and the creative magic that can result from that collaboration. Here you can see some examples of David's custom stick art lighting. Many if not all of these have been collaborations with high-end interior designers for their hospitality, commercial and residential projects. They often come with requests like "I want a rectangular box" or "Make me a large round light, and include paper or other types of shades".
Many years of trial and error have led to this unique expression of David's art. Here you can see some of the Stick Art projects he has participated in. Many are custom-made to fit any interior. The natural medium of bendable sticks provides a very unique application for interior spaces because the pieces can be seen through.
