White Plains cosmetic dentist Dr. Ira Handschuh graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1990 then continued his advanced training at the NYC Mt Sinai Hospital residency program. After completion of his residency program, Dr. Handschuh went into private practice in Manhattan until opening The Dental Design Center in White Plains, New York.

I honestly cannot say enough positive things about my experience with the Dental Design Center and Dr. Handschuh. Beginning with his kind and professional staff, my experience was first-rate, friendly, and professional. The office was immaculate and well appointed, and there is plenty of easily accessible free parking. Once I was in the chair it was immediately clear that I was in exceptionally good hands. I found Dr. Handschuh on Google. I was looking to get my teeth whitened and to find a solution for a discolored tooth. He was very professional, willing to educate me on my options and the work was phenomenal! His team are professional and very welcoming. The office is clean and their procedures adhere to COVID guidelines. Each visit I felt safe and confident that I would be happy with my new smile. I was not disappointed! I've been seeing Dr. Handschuh for years and get more compliments on my teeth than I can count. I come all the way from Long Island, and the results are well worth the drive. Every time I leave the office I feel more confident because of the amazing work he does. The office is sparkling clean, and the staff is so friendly, especially Robin! Dr. Handschuh always makes sure whatever work I am having done is as painless and comfortable as possible. Ten stars.

Dr. Ira is a great dentist. He makes you feel like he is your friend. When I broke my tooth he stayed after hours to fit me in, then he called me the next day to check how I am doing. I have been seeing Dr. Ira for the past 2 years. I like his personal attention. I never had to wait for my appointment.

I don't usually write reviews, but Dr. Handschuh stands out from all my dental experiences as exceptional. He capped my two front teeth when the onlays from elsewhere came off several times. I am so glad he did the work. His work is that of a refined artist. He sees how to make you look like you were born with naturally great teeth (which I wasn't). He works with an exceptional lab director (Calvin Mun) and between the two of them you get the best — true quality and master craftsmanship. I'm so pleased with the results. Now Dr. Handschuh is my dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Handschuh"s for years. He and his hygienist are among the most professional and qualified that I have had the pleasure of seeing as a patient. From my biannual check-ups to my recent crown, I cannot say enough superlatives about the practice.

It was really great meeting Dr. Ira Handschuh. He did a thorough exam and explained the overall health of my teeth and gums. I had a great experience with Dr. Ira! He is amiable and easy to talk to. He is also very knowledgeable and thorough. He listened to exactly what I wanted and created a step by step plan with various options to follow at my choosing and pace which made me feel very comfortable. He was also very transparent with the cost and payment options. I am very excited to work with him continuously. On another note, his Dental Assistant was very friendly and gentle. I highly recommend!
