An Escrow agent by the name of Donnie and Assistant by the name of Veronica Jubera were supposed to release earnest money to my client over 2.5 weeks ago. My client and I have called them, emailed them and we just found out that the Agent Donnie is out of town until the 27th. This will make the wait time for release of Earnest money well over 3 weeks. This is unprofessional and very frustrating for a client.

They would not respond to our Mortgage rep on a weekday when he attempted repeatedly to verify receipt of info. When they did respond (7 pm that Friday evening) they stated that they had received the necessary information.
We showed up at 10 AM to close on our house and were informed that they did not have the necessary information. We live an hour away from the title company. A phone warning? Nope.
We received three different explanations for why they were not ready. First: mortgage rep did not send them. Second: a survey was not done. After an hour and a half the third explanation was offered

As an investor who has closed on a lot of properties, in this case I sold a property and the buyer chose One Nation Title, the company has absolute poor communication, I closed on a Monday and was told that everything would be funded Tuesday before close of business, I followed up mid day and was told by both Nicole and Ella via email that they had everything and it would be funded that day. NO one communicated to me and by 5 it was still not funded. When I called and spoke to Nicole I was told that they got the ok at 3:56, but the email that I got earlier state’s otherwise. Zero Professionalism - No Follow Through - Absolutely could care less about Customer Service! All they want is that $550!

I buy homes and land for a living. I've used many title companies. Nicole at One Nation Title in Dallas/Preston Hollow does a fantastic job of making transactions go smoothly and on-time. She and her team give great communication, charge very fair fees, and close as soon as all parties are ready.
