I am almost six years clean and sober and I am so grateful for the team at BTG who saved my life and fully prepared me to manage my triggers in life outside of rehab. I look back at my memories at BTG with so much happiness and gratitude for my experience and support to grow into the responsible person I am today. Thank you Bryon and the team for saving my life !

They don’t allow any sugar or caffeine which I found ridiculous plus the treatment meets were boring and repetitive, they’ll treat you like a child. One of the councilors, Brian, (once I discharged myself to attend a funeral) literally told me to leave the property right then and there not even allowing me to make a phone call to ask my ride her eta and wouldn’t allow me to walk to the sober house to collect my possessions despite two prior clients discharging from the sober house a few days before... Literally the worst treatment center I’ve ever been too. Extremely overpriced. The only

I went to BTG 7 years ago (September 2013) and have been in recovery ever since. I have everyone at BTG to thank for that. My experience there taught and helped me not only how to get and stay sober but how to live a life I can be proud of, and mend my relationships. I loved my counselor and all the different modalities they use here. I found Yoga, Reiki, Massage, and art therapy to be extremely helpful. I still use those as healthy coping mechanisms years later!

If you’re here looking at reviews, call them. These men and women are incredible. MUCH more than a place to get clean, it’s a place to find your true self

I spent 6 months in residential treatment. This place is based on profit and nothing else. I will write more in the coming weeks. It's a complete scam based on backstabbing. Sad indeed. Spent over 70k.

My daughter has been a patient at BTG for a few months now. They have bent over backwards to help her, even when she had moments where she was sabotaging herself. They have not given up on her. Anyone that gives this place a bad review has an ax to grind, likely because they didn't follow the rules and were made to leave. As with all addictions, the addict must be ready and willing to participate fully in their recovery. For those who are ready to make that commitment to themselves, BTG is the place to be. Every one of the staff that I have met have been polite, professional and caring, counselors

Since Feb 2018 due to the stressful experience with Virginia's flawed mental health system and especially due to the negative experience with Poplar Springs Hospital in Petersburg, VA I had grown extremely skeptical of mental health & substance abuse professionals.
Out of all of the options available to us through the CSB Bridging the Gaps (BTG) seemed to be more promising because their program does not hoard a bunch of people into their recovery homes like the program in Alexandria, VA does. Still, I had some reservations about BTG after reading a negative Yelp review in which one reviewer accuses

Well if you are looking for a dual diagnosis facility this is not that, even though they advertised themselves to be dual diagnosis. This is not about me; I am a relative of the patient and responsible for the patient. The patient had been in state care in another state and diagnosed there as much as 20 years ago as bi polar. This diagnosis did not change until the patient entered BTG at which point the powers-that-be there concluded she was not bipolar at all and did not treat this aspect of the patient's problems with any medication. The patient was in BTG for 2 full sessions to the tune

I was a client at BTG one year ago after being at a re-hab in Pennsylvania. I liked the way the process was managed. BTG was the only place that filled my needs to get clean. I am sober and because of BTG I am a productive part of society!! They were very professional and there treatments were top notch. BTG is one of a kind. I have to mention that two other people that I knew went there as well and are both sober for over six years! Thanks BTG!!

What a fabulous organization!

I have a child who was literally saved from total ruin after completing the program at Bridging the Gaps.

The holistic approach to to treating each individual is the key to long term abstinance.

I would urge anyone struggling with this horrible disease to reach out to this caring and talented organization.

This organization puts lives at risk. It has violated the confidentiality of its participants. The staff gossip about the participants to people in AA meetings. It participated in shunning all the women of color from an AA meeting, because they did not have $1 to put in the basket. The women of color were from a competing rehab in town. This was very dirty. Many of the addicts that go to BTG relapse while they are in the program.
