Stopped by here on Friday to get a pizza. After all, sign says Pizza Fri-Sun. Was told by the nice young lady at the counter that this sign is really for summer and they only do pizza Sat and Sun. Um ok, no problem, plenty of options for dinner around here. But I've had this pizza before so I was looking forward to enjoying one Saturday night. When I returned on Saturday I was told by another nice young lady that not only did they only sell slices on the weekend and not complete pizza's, they were out of slices. This was at 4 in the afternoon.

Now I'm frustrated. Not because

Drove 2 hours for a hot mocha and cinnabun and I wasn't disappointed! Great cafe. Wished I lived closer so I could get it more often.

We were making our way to Goat Rock Beach from Guerneville. This is the perfect little stop, just a 15 minute drive from downtown Guerneville. I didn't really expect there to be a lot in Duncans Mill but was pleasantly surprised.

There are cute little shops including gourmet food markets, toy shops and antiques. Before we jumped into the shopping, we had to grab some coffee and enjoy the cinnamon buns. Take note, they sell out fast!

We spent about an hour wandering around the stores in this tiny little town. If you have time, check out the Poet's Corner Book Shop located on the other

We have and always will make a stop at Gold Coast whenever we are in the area! This place has to have some of the best fresh pastries and delicious coffee! The butter horn is so buttery and flaky with delicious sweet flavor, the apple pecan roll is so indulgent with apple chunks and candied pecans, and all of the scones are always top notch!

I will always recommend this place! Give it a try but get their early to beat the crowds!

We came along this gem on our way to Ft Ross.
The crew majority opinion was for pizza.

We got a veggie pizza and a half/half non veggie.
The staff were very friendly and one notice my husbands soccer shirt and complimented him on it.
Apparently her family were also into the same club.

The staff were very friendly and although we changed our minds a couple of time, they didnot mind us wishy washy people.

The pizzas came out in the time ordered and we were very happy with the outcome.
The crust was perfect and so were the ingredients were well cooked.

We highly recommend this place

Excellent chai and pastries! I got the chai spicy (choices included spicy, extra spicy, sweet, and mixed) and it was really really good - tons of flavor! We also got a blueberry lemon scone, which was excellent, well above average. My husband said his coffee was okay, but everything I had was excellent.

Also really appreciated their covid protocols. Ordering and pick up were fully outside, so it felt really really safe. A worthwhile stop if you're driving through the area.

My husband and I have stopped here several times to pick up a quick bite to eat on the way back from Bodega. While I do enjoy the cinnamon bun, the pastries and pizza overall are a bit stale and not fresh. You can request to heat up certain items, but you are heating up baked goods that should be fresh. I wonder if this is related to the pandemic? I don't remember their pastries and pizza being cold and needing to be reheated...

If you're looking for a quick snack, this is not a bad place to stop over but don't expect great baked goods.

Husband would give four stars for the porta

The location is pretty cool as it's at an old train stop and you can see where the old baggage areas were and a train carriage.

Staff was lovely and made our drink quickly (Iced Mocha) and heated up our ham and spicy mustard pastry. There is also a "day old" section of discounted pastries and we got a huge bear claw and a super thick ginger cookie. The staff member even threw in an extra ginger cookie for me on the house!!

My fiancƩ claimed it was the best Bear claw he's ever had. We also enjoyed the spicy mustard pastry and the not too sweet ginger cookie as well. If we

These people make the Prototypical all American cookie (chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal, and molasses)! The taste is heavenly, right out of grandmother's oven. But not any grandmother. The grandmother of your dreams!

I am a cookie connoisseur and appreciate all kinds of cookies, but I have to say, this variety is my favorite and this bakery does it better than any other bakery I've encountered in my many many years.

Unfortunately, I am leaving the River area for a while, because I'm not that interested in being here during fire season which is growing increasingly long

I love this bakery! They have consistently great pastries (particularly the scones and croissants) and delicious drinks. There is a nice garden out back or seating on benches by the old train station. Their COVID set-up is excellent (plenty of spacing when you order) and the staff are very helpful.

Decent spot to grab a quick bite to eat when in the area. There is outdoor seating located in the back of the establishment. Plenty of parking out front. Tried the pizza, Thai tea and an Americano. Enough to hold us over for our long drive home. Pizza was good- not the best but good.

Ok so when you see a wooden sign out front (and a street sign) that said PIZZA, and even 'wood-fired' you must think to yourself 'man this is gonna be some good pizza!'

NOPE. Back out, keep going and I'm not kidding.
We pulled in after grabbing some Prosecco from Korbel, and trying to carry on the Italian theme, wanted pizza. We decided on this since we were camping at Casini Ranch, which was right around the corner.

So they ONLY sell by the slice so don't think you can buy a whole pizza. Then there are only a few options - NOT customizable at all. I ask for the

The line is long and so is the wait. I ordered a cup of coffee with cream and a slice of veggie pizza (pesto, roasted pepper, and mushrooms), heated. !8 minutes later, I received the puniest slice of pizza known to mankind, and it was mislabeled: pesto, roasted pepper and sausage. I did not have the time to reorder and wait again. This place sucks. Go across the street to the Duncans Mills Store. You can order a sandwich there that will actually fill you up. And their veggie sandwich won't actually have meat in it.

I love this gem of a bakery.

It's funny to me that a Celiac gal loves baked goods, oh well. I know everyone has different thresholds of tolerance so don't go solely on my experience if you are gluten intolerant but for my experience, I enjoy goodies here with sparingly thoughtful enjoyment and no negative reactions. Again, I know everyone is different.

My personal favorites are the pinwheel and the savory pastry. They usually have a turkey pesto with pepper Jack and a Swiss and ham (Swiss and ham is my fav), you can't go wrong either way.

Whenever we come out this way for a

The cinnamon roll was incredible, could almost still feel the warmth from the oven. Just got a plain light roast coffee with a splash of cream, its not as light roast as you might find at some shops, buy I personally think thats a good thing. No bitterness just solid full body coffee and a really yummy pastry. Will definitely stop by again on our way out the the coast.

Stopped here on way to Jenner on the recommendation of a couple of friends. Was easy to find, in a cute little country mall (old storefronts and character!) and parking was busy but manageable. Glad it wasn't on a weekend! There was a line but it moved quickly, ordering at one station and picking-up at another, allowing for good social-distancing.

We ordered a couple of cinnamon buns (based on reviews, mainly, but the sweet tooth had a say as well!), a bear claw and an apple-pecan roll.

They arrived in a white box, and off we went. We opened the box later and found the two cinnamon rolls

After seeing countless reviews of the cinnamon bun being the best in this world, had to makeĀ a pit stop at @goldcoastcoffee_ . They were sold out of their savory options in the late afternoon but managed to snag a cinnamon roll and a strawberry/raspberry galette! The cinnamon roll was delicious, but not quite a traditional roll. It was gooey and softer on the inside, but had a more flakey consistency (similar to a croissant) on the outside, which made for a nice contrast in texture. The galette was tasty as well with a good serving of fruit. If you're ever at Sonoma Coast State Park, definitely

After a long day of driving, this coffee shop is everything I needed.
Got the Rocket Dog(light or dark roasted coffee with 2 espresso shots) with a splash of soy and Cuban latte. Both are so aromatic and smooth. The Cuban latte reminds me of Zaza from east coast.
Got the last cinnamon roll at 8am and it was definitely the bomb. Rich, creamy, melt in your mouth, but not overwhelmingly sweet. The chocolate croissant was delicious as well.
Everyone works here are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The ordering process is also efficient. Nice smooth background music.

This place is AMAZINGLY delicious. I apparently got really lucky and managed to walk up when there was no line. I was warned not to get use to that as there is usually a line to the street. But, this bakery is well worth the wait. The best ham and cheese croissant of my life. The spicy mustard, the ham, the little bit red pepper on top....

Also, the reviews are spot on about the cinnamon rolls as well. Onolicious. My children are lucky they saw any of that or their hot chocolate.

We will definitely be coming here every time we come to our happy place on the coast.
