Groundwater in unconsolidated deposits (soils) is generally inadequately acidic, which means that it has a pH less than 7 on a scale from 0 to 14. Whether you have acidic water can be hard to determine without the proper testing. However, there are signs around the house you can look for, including green or blue-colored stains in your sink, toilet or bathtub or fragile pipes with thin walls.
Arsenic is a semi-metallic element that naturally occurs in rocks, soils, and water that comes into contact with them. Exposure to arsenic in drinking water has been identified as a health concern in regions of the United States where bedrock contains unusually high levels of arsenic, such as areas of New Hampshire, Maine, Michigan, Ohio, and regions in the Southwest.

The team at Atlantic Water Solutions, especially Corey were amazing. He and Mike drove hours into northern NH to work on my unit and when I had another issue, Corey spent time with me on the phone and talked me through how to fix it. They are courteous, knowledgeable and priced fairly. If or when I have to replace my unit, I will not hesitate to call them.

AWS did a great a job and it didn’t take long to get someone out to get an arsenic filter installed when I bought my house. In comparison to other shop that install water filters they were much better priced. My water was undrinkable and now is perfectly safe. They did a good job walking me through the equipment as well. Very happy customer!

Atlantic Water Solutions did an absolutely amazing job with our water problems. We had the "rotten egg" smell that just made turning on the water a very unpleasant experience. Cindy came out and assessed our needs and made her recommendations. She was able to provide us with the correct equipment that would fit into the space we had inside our house. Since the installation was completed we have been able to enjoy our showers and everything else concerning using our water, Another positive note is that there are no more "rust" stains on any of our surfaces. What a pleasure to deal with Atlantic

For a small crew they met and exceeded my expectations by a long shot. They installed our or well and pressure tank during the recent build of our home. Sadly the water after months of use was still saturated with iron and manganese. I emailed them about an estimate based on the water test results. Unlike other companies trying to sell me 5 times the system than I needed, they quoted exactly what I needed to correct the issues I was having. With in 10 business we were up and running with a new system to remove the problem metals. Our water has been excellent ever since. I highly recommend them
